New site with considerate owners. Chris and Jillian very accomodating and interested in making your stay very good. Level site with lovely condition grass in great location with electric and toilet. Walk on Long Mynd was incredible. Village has pub, shop, fuel station and butchers. Not open all week though for some. Nice 6 mile run road circuit from sìte, very quiet. Lots of great walks within 20 mins. Access for caravans good. Best approach is maybe from north but we did south on arrival in error and it was alright. Good luck Chris and Jillian we will be back.
Great site
Chris and Jill deserve to do really well with this site. It isn’t an area we know but were very impressed with all the amenities the small village of Ditton Priors offers. We used the Willows Cafe, the shop, the garage and the farm shop, all within easy walking distance of the site. We also went to The Boyle Arms by taxi (company owned by the owner of the pub so no extra charge) and had a lovely meal. Chris and Jill are perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. They even helped me out with wellies when I forgot my walking boots but don’t try this unless you’re size 5! There is an immaculate toilet and chemical disposal, EHU and water points are all conveniently placed. I couldn’t give it 5 for peace and tranquillity because as others say it’s next to a road but it really didn’t bother us and when it was quiet it was stunningly quiet. At night the sounds of owls and other creatures was magical.
Nice little site
This is new site only opened in July, Chris and Jill were very welcoming new toilet block and facilities very clean the field is nice and flat walking distance to the pub and shops in Dittonpriors if you have a dog there’s a dog walk through a gate. The only downside there’s a lane behind the site which can be busy and noisy during day but that didn’t put us of.
So will definitely be going back and would highly recommend this site
Thanks Chris and Jill enjoyed our week at your site

Stunning little CL
What a wonderful find this was. Chris and Jillian were absolutly fantastic. Bent over backwards to help us. Nothing was to much trouble. Chris even waited for us to go out so the mower wouldnt disturb us even though it had been mown just a couple of days earlier. He even moved his cows to a distant fiels so we could excersise the dogs in the massive field adjacent to our pitch. Chris obviously feels the CL is the future. He wanted to know any idea's we had to improve things to put them into practice. He is also installing a toilet which may be already done by the date i write this 25Th August 2021. He isn't just after your money. They charge £1 for dogs but he wouldn't take the fee for our two. He said he wasn't charging people this year at all. Most owners would chop your fingers off when £10 cash is waived at them. So refreshing to deal with.
As you can tell I was impressed. One slight niggle. The lane behind is a bit busy mainly with agricultural tractors and stuff. It does go fairly quiet at night with a few boy racers it sounded like but these were few and far between. Chris recognise's this issue and has planted and additional row of conifers which hopefully are fast growing.
The local area is fantastic. Beatuful village and walks. We went up Brown Clee Hill and over to Long Mynd.Fantastic views at the top of each. Chris even gave us tips where to park.
Another example which we did not experience is that a local pub has an arrangement with Chris, if you book a meal there they will pick you up and take you back to the site afterwards all free (not the meal). We were there 5 days at the start of August and were amongst the first to use this site. We will be going back and it will get very popular.
Thank you Chris, Jillian and Charlie

A little gem
We were the first to use this new CL so I am claiming the right to be the first to review it.
The owners, Chris and Gillian, and son Charlie were very friendly and welcoming and were able to give us a lot of useful information about the local area. The site is level and has EHU and two water points near to the pitches, which meant we were able to top up the water in our motorhome without moving it. The facilities are clean and nicely laid out and we understand there will be a toilet on site within the next few weeks. There is a bit of noise from the adjacent road but not enough to bother us.
Ditton Priors is an interesting village and the pub does takeaways, including Sunday lunch. We were given a printout of the menu on arrival which we appreciated.
We think this site will soon become a favourite with a lot of people and wish the owners all the best in their new venture.
