Good site but shame about waste disposal
Stayed here for 3 nights mid June and despite the pouring rain we were met and greeted with half a dozen free eggs. The site is as listed on a good slope requiring leveling blocks except the pitch occupied by a caravan that is taped off and surrounded by 2 feet of grass.
The site is easy to get to and great location for access to Durham. Unfortunately the waste water disposal system needs updating as the grey water disposal took an age to drain away and the chemical toilet disposal point was full to the point of over flowing. Sure this has been resolved. Worth another visit.
