We booked this site to use whilst we were working at Cartmel races. We found the site easily as we know the area well, but may be difficult for someone unfamiliar. There was no one to greet us but this is not unusual on CL sites. The pitches are under the trees and slope backwards a little. This was a little daunting as we are very new to caravanning, but we soon got sorted. We were not disturbed by traffic noise from the main road as previous reviewers suggested. Overall the site was great for what we needed - a base. Our only recommendation would be that the trees could be cut back a little. Oh and an improvement in the weather!!! Typical for the Lakes. We will probably use again.
