Just fabulous!

What can we say? Stayed for a week and could have stayed longer. A wonderful CL. Quiet, friendly, beautiful; lots to see and do in the area; or you could just stay put and enjoy this wonderful CL. Plenty of places to walk dogs nearby. Ostlers Plantation 5 mins walk away and the wonderful Water Rail Way a 10 min drive away. Great beaches for dogs about 40 mins drive away.

An undiscovered sanctuary!

We have just spent a wonderful two weeks at Oaklea and have loved our stay. The arboretum has been created (still ongoing) by the owners with such vision, clarity and love that one feels are though you're truly away from the rat race of life. Piotr is always on hand for advice and runs the site with such efficiency. There is so much to do locally and suits all needs, from walkers, cyclists or just sitting in a quaint tea shop watching life go by and tucking into plum loaf. We shall return and a big thank you for allowing us " caravanners" to share your haven. Penny,Liam and Ellie from Tunbridge Wells

A beautiful CL for chilling.

Booking this CL was easy with communication to the owners by email answered quickly. We were met on arrival at site by the owner who advised us of all the necessary information and gave us a choice of pitch. The site and pitches are level and have pretty views all around the site. We chose a nice grass pitch but was some 40+ mtrs from the hookup bollard but Piotr the owner quickly supplied the loan of another cable to enable us to stay where we were. It was very clean, very quiet, and peaceful, yet not too far from local amenities. The directions to the CL were accurate with the entrance easy to locate giving wide access too. Is the CL nice? Very. Will we return? For sure we will. Thank you for a very pleasant weekend stay Piotr.

Amazing Site

This is a totally amazing site. Spacious, quiet, plenty of walking directly from the site. The site is very well laid out, with wonderful views of all the trees that have been planted. You often see deer walking across the grass areas. Woodhall Spa itself is a walkable distance. We loved this site and would highly recommend it. The site owner is friendly and helpful, without being "in your face" all the time. He's also hard working, keeping the site looking tidy, and well cared for. There's grass and hardstanding pitches, so well suitable for either a summer holiday, or a winter get away from it all.

Arboreal Delight

A lovely quiet three night stay half a mile or so from the main road through Woodhall Spa. Easily accessible site with hardstanding that helps to protect the grassed area when the ground is soft. We were met by the owner Piotr, who is very helpful, giving us the full SP on the site, it's surroundings and the local area (thank you Piotr). A significant diversity of trees and shrubs have been planted and make for a lovely experience even in February - little doubt the spring and summer will be glorious here. Piotr promised us glimpses of a host of wildlife and again we weren't disappointed. There was the occasional fly-past of mechanical birds but it is the heart of Lincolnshire and it's RAF bases - it wasn't overly intrusive. We would be happy to revisit and gladly recommend this site.

A gem

Had a week at Oaklea at the end of July. There is little I can add to the other reviews but in 7 years of caravanning this is definitely the most picturesque CL we have ever visited. Piotr is very helpful and has all the local knowledge you need and we look forward to returning.

Excellent cl

We have just spent a great weekend at this lovely site. Piotr gave us a warm and friendly welcome, showing us to our pitch and explaining all about the site and surrounding area. The pitches are spacious, level and secluded with views of the gardens, we even had deer walking across the site on Sunday morning. This site is well worth a visit, we shall be returning.

Fantastic

Stayed here last weekend. Has to be one of the best CLs around. It was like staying in the grounds of a country manor. Piotr was a very friendly guy, he even gave my wife Jane some cuttings. He went out of his way to help, lovely chap. Will definitely stay here again, (if its not fully booked). The dogs loved it too.

What a gem!

We have just spent a week at Oaklea in our motorhome. We had a lovely welcome from Piotr, who explained where everything was around the site and had a vast knowledge of the local area! We had many a chat with him whilst walking around the grounds and meeting up with him and his wheelbarrow! The trees and shrubs are just beautiful, and we plan to visit again in the autumn. Ostler's Plantation, opposite site, also a 'must' visit. Our dog was a very happy girl, with all the local walks, just wish it had stopped raining at some point during the week!!
