If we could rate 'peace & tranquility' as a 7 out of 5, we would! The only noise, birds & Saturday bell ringing at the village church which was a respectable 10am to midday. Thank you so much for our second stay of many future ones, we hope. The water tap at every pitch is a luxury we hadn't even thought of! Payment by transfer is very convenient too! Easy access, a secure site, all spacious hard standings & close to walks, villages & about 5 mins drive from Hawkhurst Tesco, Waitrose, pubs, restaurants, takeaways & pharmacy. We really couldn't rate this site higher!
Peaceful & Relaxing Stay
We booked this CL as it was set in a quiet location.
On arrival it was difficult to find (no signage) but this is being rectified, Puri was helpful in assisting us locate the site
Security gated property and the pitches are well spaced, each with water & electric on hand.
The site is tree lined with a lake to one side.
Lots of walks nearby to admire the local area
There is a small Morrison’s local shop & a garage. The pub is currently undergoing a refit to become a Spanish Restaurant which will open soon
Don’t miss the local cherry stall just down the road
Hawkhurst is nearby and there are lots of great pubs a short drive away too
We had a lovely stay, just to relax and take things at our own pace, we would definitely return
A wonderful relaxing site with very pleasant and helpful owners near to many historic attractions
We had a very pleasant 8 night stay on this very well maintained site which felt especially secure with its gated entry. There is an excellent choice of pitches all offering fully serviced hard standings with adjacent grass areas. The chemical toilet emptying point was well designed and situated away from the pitches.
We particularly liked the two large ponds and the wildlife that inhabited them. There were some good early morning walks just off the site for our dogs and plenty of other places to walk in the surrounding countryside after a short drive.
As NT members, we were spoilt for choice for nearby places to visit and Hastings with its excellent fish and chip shops (!) and really freshly landed fish is only about a half hour drive away.
Puri, the owner, was very accommodating when we had a special request and we cannot speak highly enough of the whole setup - thanks, Puri, we will be back again soon!

Peaceful Stay
Easy access to site with large Pitches, water and electric to all the hard standing pitches.
Very quiet and peaceful. Walks nearby, Ten minute walk to the village.
We shall return,
Totally relaxing
Just got back from our 2 night stay and just wanted to say that we loved it, totally relaxing, great walks, our 2 little dogs had a great time too. Weather was superb. We will definitely be back đŸ™‚ I've added some photos on Google reviews as can't seem to add them here.
Disappointed.
Arrived in November when the storms were coming through so thought this site would be fine, going by feedback and photo's. no CL sign on gateway, I looked on Google Earth before hand so had a good idea were it was, Pitches I found were made of a very fine white material which when wet got every where. I had to phone the owners to ask where the bins were, Outside the farm entrance gate, quite a way from the CL. There is a Pylon at the top of the site with cables going over several of the pitches. The day before we left I phoned again to ask if we could pay, I had to go to the farm office to pay. No owner come to see how we were. Site drained well in rotten weather. A new mobile home was being plumbed in at the top of the site above the lake.
Perfect seven night break at Oaklands Farm, Sandhurst, Kent
Oaklands Farm is a really quiet site set in beautiful countryside. There are country walks directly from the caravan site. We hiked across fields, woodland and vineyards to Bodiam castle. Bedgebury Forest and Hemsted Forest are good for mountain biking and are easy to reach via roads from the site. The local Tesco store is a 10 minute car drive away at Hawkhurst. There are a number of National Trust properties in the area too. We found plenty to do but equally enjoyed relaxing at the caravan pitch. Mark and Puri, the site owners were great… very welcoming, helpful with tips on places to visit and considerate. We definitely will return at some point!

Little bit of Paradise
A lovely quiet site surrounded by trees and birdsong.
A good sense of security, as the site is protected by heavy key coded gates. The fully serviced pitches made life very easy and it was helpful being on hardstanding. A very relaxed feel with a pleasant site owner nearby. An added bonus was that we found a Bee Orchid in full flower on the site, yellow flag irises in the two large ponds and evidence of bullrushes around the ponds. Helpfully the village with well stocked grocery stores and newspapers are walking distance from the site. The cost per night was £20 which included electricity. All in all an excellent CL site!

Will definitely be back! Very welcoming and quiet.
Stayed for 2 nights end of February and the site was well maintained and secure, away from the road yet very close to the village and numerous footpaths. Lovely healthy looking ponds with water and electric on every pitch. Very welcoming and friendly, will definitely be back in the summer when I'm sure it will be a haven for nature and wildlife. Thanks X
Very peaceful, tidy CL site in an attractive part of Kent, you need nothing more!
We stayed in our caravan for 5 nights, whilst travelling in 2 cars, over the August Bank Holiday 2020 period and found it was a very quiet site that suited us perfectly. It was well laid out with a secure gated entrance and well landscaped around an area of unfenced water that was very peaceful. Choice of 3 hardstandings or other grassed areas that most likely need some degree of levelling assistance, all of generous size with electric hook-up and individual water tap. There is an easy to access and use cassette disposal point. Price we paid was inclusive of the electric hook-up, just a bit more than price shown on-line but this suited our needs rather than using a meter. Communication with owner by mobile phone and text was straightforward as the gate code needs to be obtained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this site and look forward to visiting again when we return to the area. Steve and Sue
