Great CL

Just returned from North Mount Farm after 5 night stay. Lovely big field all to ourselves, with hard to beat views over Bridlington bay. Manicured grass, no cuttings left, EHU and water tap to each pitch, 10 units/night included in £20/night site fees. Since our visit last year, the owners have planted shrub screening (laurel, I think?) around the perimeter of 3 sides of the field, which, when grown, will shelter from the wind; which was quite blustery on the hill top while we were there, but caused us no problems. Also, matting has been put down, all the way across the grass and down through the entrance into the CL area, which certainly helps with traction to get off the site after rain. We use CAMC CL's, all over the UK and this is certainly one of the best we have visited. The owners work hard with their agricultural farm and livery business with the lovely horses; but still put time and effort into keeping the site in pristine condition. If you are visiting this area for a break, look no further. This is a great site !!!

OUR NEW GO TO SITE.

We agree with everything the other reviewers say. Views over Brid harbour. Horses in their paddocks. Peace, quiet and well kept site. All major supermarkets within 15 mins from site. Brid, Filey, Scarborough, Bempton, Flamborough are all within 10 to 30 minutes away.. When going to the SITE we found the POST CODE took us to a single lane track (Pinfold Lane) that led to the farm. You don't want to be on this lane. Access to the CL is on Bempton Lane. You cannot miss the entrance because there is a big sign at the gate. Everything about this site is great and we will be making North Mount Farm our go to site whenever we are going to the East Riding Coast. Len n Linda

North Mount Farm

Stayed here for 4 nights. 6th to the 10th. This is our second stay since finding this little gem of a CL. Julie and Ian the owners of the site are lovely people. Julie is totally commited to making your stay everything you hope for she keeps the site looking top notch. Lovely views. Peace and quiet. Easy access to Brid, Flamborough and Bempton. Lots of horses in the paddocks to see. My husband was in his eliment watching the farmers on their combine harvesterer, tractors and bailer during this harvesting time which due to the weather was a little later than normal. There are 10 units of electric included daily in the pitch fee and this is more than adequate. In 4 days we only used 20 units. Having the fresh water tap on each indivudual pitch is a god send no having to drive the motorhome to the water area or carry watering cans its right by your side. The farm around the site is immaculate. Everyone around is so friendly. I loved watching the horses being ridden daily such beautiful animals. Lookin forward to coming again next year Julie. Thank you for an amazing peaceful stay. Chrissy and Les xx

Weekend Stay

What a fantastic little CL this is. Easy draining, level pitches with water and electricity. Fantastic views of Bridlington bay. There is a fantastic dog walk around the perimeter of one of the fields. It took us 45 minutes to walk into Bridlington old town - took a bit longer to walk back after visiting quite a few of the pubs in town. If walking’s not your thing then you can sit in peace and quiet watching the view. It is possible to see the skydivers at the skydiving club some days - was quite amusing! Owners Julie and Ian are friendly and accommodating, we will be back.

great site

We have just returned from a 7 night stay on this site and what great site it is with good views of Bridlington bay, the pitches had water and power and the grass pitches were firm even after rain (and we had a lot of that). Why i marked it down for welcome is that we had no contact with the owner while on site but apart from that it is a great site and we will use this site again.

North Mount Farm

Well what a gem of a CL we have found.. Loathed to review as i want to keep it a secret just for us.😄😄 Very warm welcome from Julie and Ian. Immaculately kept site. Picturesque views all around. 3mile walk to Brid. Promenade is outstanding plus Beautiful beach. Plenty of seatting with views on the promenade. Definitely going to be a regular stay for us from now on. Cl has electric and own water on each pitch. Elsan and grey waste disposal end of field including Recyle bins. If you love horses you are in for a treat as there are horses in several paddocks to stroke. No noise at night. So peaceful. Sad to be going tomorrow. Thanks for letting us stay Julie and Ian your doing a fantastic job. See you a.s.a.p Les and Chrissy

Great New CL near Bridlington

Just had 3 nights at this new CL. Its is spacious with large pitches each with power and water. The site is level and has great views to the south over the bay and town. Bridlington is easy to get to as are other towns and attractions nearby. The access is easy along a tarmac road from Bempton Lane. Julie was most welcoming and congratulations to her and Ian for this smashing addition to the CL network. As previous reviewers mentioned the 10 unit allowance for electric is more than adequate - we were there 3 days in coldish weather using electric for heating and didn't reach the limit.

North Mount Farm CL

Excellent CL. New site, perched on hill overlooking Bridlington and the bay. Just spent 5 nights before Easter 2023. Don't be put off by the 10 units of electricity/day it was ample for our stay and the £20/night is more than fair. Friendly owners. Fenced, lawned field, tranquil, great views. Caravans south facing on nice spacious, level, pitches with own tap and hook up point. Easy access off Bempton Lane onto tarmac farm road. Good dog walk around adjoining field. We only use CAMC CL sites and this is definitely one of the best we have stayed on. We would have no hesitation in returning to North Mount Farm, when we return to the area, still searching for the elusive puffins.

Stunning new site for 2023

Well, what can I say. Its hard to pick any fault in this new CL. Very easy to get to, even with a large unit, plenty of room for 5 caravans/motor homes. Individual water and electric hook up per pitch. Very clean, good waste facilties and the most gorgeous view over Bridlington Bay. Julie and Ian are very welcoming. There if you need them, but leave you to enjoy your stay. Only thing I would note is 10 units of electricity per day in the price. So if you are going in Winter or use a lot of electricity you may have to pay a little more. Would not stop us returning again.
