Returned to site after a 9yr gap, site has grown since then, a significant amount of permanent looking caravans otherside of hedge, many in poor state of repair, would appear to be for various workers as lots of work van parked up, smelt of non tobacco based smoking at wknd. The shower and toilet facilities are grim at best, haven't been cleaned in a while, most in our group refused to use them full stop, after a shower you would probably end up dirtier, a black mould covered pallet was in the shower cubicle and the walls were also damp and mould covered, the toilet on occasion was like Glastonbury on a bad day.The CL part of the site is fine, but the additional facilities are a no go. If you want a CL with hook up, water and toilet emptying then it's fine, but use your own on board facilities. Also the 5 van limit on CL sites was only followed in spirt.
