Having been turned down at Brundcliffe Farm due to "concerns about getting bogged down", we were very pleased with this pleasant CL with its wildlife pond and direct access to the High Peak Trail. (We had brought our bikes.) Very peaceful apart from the traffic noise (especially bikers), but this wasn't really a problem. There is one hard standing pitch, and the rest are grass. A bit uneven in places, but nothing that levelling blocks can't sort out. The owner could not have been more pleasant and helpful, and visited several times (sometimes by car, sometimes by quad bike) during our two night stay. And we didn't get bogged down.
