Well Worth a Visit
We have stayed at this site in our motorhome a number of times and have always enjoyed our stay. The site has a gravel surface so good in all weathers. We needed to do a bit of levelling but that depends on where you park.
Heather and Pete are excellent wardens and you will always get a friendly welcome.
There are 2 shower rooms with wc in each and are always spotless.
The town is a short walk away and there is a view over the moored barges of the hills beyond.
We stayed here for xmas and New Year but had to nip back home for a day before returning. Sadly the site fee had increased from £15 per day to £17.50. I feel that this is a big increase and therefore won't be staying here as often nor for as long. Maybe other CL's will have as large an increase but that is something I will have to check out.
