delightful and charming site

We spent a week here in early August and can only echo all the positive reviews above. We loved the position of the site and opportunity to look over the open field adjoining and see lovely sunsets at night. With two dogs we appreciated the easily accessible walks around the site and even the chance to walk across a field to The Masons Arms which is a great value pub where we ate on a couple of occasions. We simply loved the new toilet and shower block which was the best we've ever experienced. Emma and Rob are great hosts and helpful and informative. OK, it is fair to say that the site is alongside a minor country lane but there is minimal traffic which did not impact on our stay at all and we are used to living in a quiet rural area. Access is easy compared to many other sites! In fact we liked it so much, we are booked to return soon

Great Little Cl.

We've coming to this little cl for several years now due family living nearby. The owners Rob and Emma are very friendly and have loads of info about the surrounding area. I can agree with everything in the last 2 reviews. The new shower and toilet facilities are first class. With getting to know Emma over the past few years I expected something special, but it really exceeded my expectations, it's just wow...wow... best we've ever used in nearly 40 years. I must add in response to a review titled My X2 nights, we live in north Nottinghamshire, we have a motorhome and also tow a small car. We've never once had any problems approaching the farm.

Great Facilities on site (best we have seen in 80 CL's and club sites)

I echo much said by the previous review to this. The site in next to a minor road and you can hear some cars occasionally, but how on earth do you get to the site without the road in the first place. The site is next to a field with sheep in if you are lucky and empty otherwise. The area is very pleasant and if you are exploring the area, you will have already researched what's close by. We came here many years ago with the old portaloo, this has been upgraded by the best toilet block and superb shower - I hare to say it's better than the one at home. All for £20 which is a step up on previous price quoted but still very reasonable considering, give it a go.

Our stays at New House Farm

My wife and I have been coming to the CL for almost fifteen years and have got to know Rob and Emma the site owners ( and what nice people they are). We are locals from Worcester so we know the best access route to the site. If you are coming from the direction of Worcester along the Martley Road ( B4204 ) which most people probably will, you will go past a sign for Wichenford and immediately go past a sign for the Cob House on your left. About 500 yards further on, take the left turn ( signposted Broadwas ) into Willow Road. Continue along the road and you will see a left turn with a Post box on a pole. Carry on past this turning and take the next right turn (about 100 yards) into Hope House Lane. The entrance to the CL is about 300 yards along the lane, at the end of an old brick barn on the left side of the road, through a five bar gate with a CAMC sign. The CL is immediately to the right, with a hard standing area, three fresh water points and several EHU points. The grassed area is gently sloping, so you will need levelling aids. I should add that coming this way avoids going through Martley village, where the road does get rather narrow. There are houses further along the lane and another farm, so there is a little traffic that uses the road but in all the years that we have used the CL this has never been an issue. The site owners store some caravans on another part of the farm, but this has never been part of the CL. At this point I would like to mention the toilet facilities. The site owners have spent a considerable amount of money on new facilities to be open at the end of June. Regarding shops, pubs, etc if you go into Martley village there is a local convenience store by the name of Central Stores and a pub called the Admiral Rodney. There is also a pub on the B4204 called the Masons Arms, nice place, good food. If you fancy Thai food, there is a Thai restaurant called Chim Doo in Venn Lane, which is next to the Masons Arms. Turn into Venn Lane and after about 300 yards there is a Georgian style house on the left. Turn into the courtyard and Chim Doo is on the left behind the house. Excellent food, best to book in advance. Takeaway is also available, best to place a phone order. If you head towards Worcester, there is a pub in Lower Broadheath called the Bell, again nice place, good food. Carry on into Worcester and just past the Worcester City sign, there is a Tesco Express on the left. As I have already stated, we have been coming to this CL for fifteen years and will continue to do so because we like the site so much. You are only eight miles from Worcester, but you could be a hundred miles away. I like to look out for the International Space Station when it comes over and whilst I am waiting outside the caravan for the ISS to appear, the sound of silence is deafening, such is the tranquility of the site. Come and spend some time here, you will not regret it.

My X2 Nights

We travelled from Nottingham to new house farm for X2 nights and what a journey it was, with the single lane roads we had to go down to get to the farm, not good with a twin axle 8ft wide caravan. we read the reviews before we went and thought this site would be ok to use as it was close to Worcestershire race course for the balloon fest. On arriving the site look nice and slightly sloped and a tall hedge at the side of the road, we set up then the lady of the farm came to greet use which was nice of her, I mentioned the lanes to get to the site and she mention the road next to the site was a cut through for the traffic. There were more seasonal touring caravans further up in the farm at the back of the house and with the reviews that was posted saying this CL site was so quite and peaceful we wondered if that was originally the CL site before it was against the road. The noise of the cars going by is disturbing most of the day, early evening, early morning, we not return to this site

A WEEKEND STAY IN JULY 2021

A quite and well kept CL in a farm setting. The facilities are very good and there is a great view across the field, usually with sheep or horses grazing. Within a gentle drive of Worcester or the Malvern hills. Great value at £12 per night on a site I would recommend if you want to visit Worcester and the surrounding countryside.

A great place to chill.

We stopped here after a busy holiday so we could chill out a bit before going home. It was lovely and quiet in terms of people and cars, very friendly owner and a tidy flat field. There are sheep on the farm and some arable farming and we did have some quite loud machinery going on a lot of the time. When that stopped, it was really quiet! There is a short local walk - it does involve going past sheep and doing a bit of clambering, but beautiful countryside if you want to go further. Whitley Court is a short drive away and well worth a visit, it's why we stopped in the area. I would certainly go back there again.

Very nice CL and handy for Worcester

This is a nice CL, which we used when 'installing' our daughter into Worcester Uni. It is in a peaceful spot in lovely countryside and is easy to access. The site is well laid out and kept and the toilet was clean. It's very handy for Worcester, especially the West side, avoiding the bottleneck of the river bridge/City centre. There's a Tesco Express and a very good chippy on the Martley Road/Monarch Way which saves a trip into the City itself if you need shopping.

Lovely CL with very accomodating owner

We booked in with this CL at very short notice as the CL we had previously booked at was under water! Mr Cross was very accommodating and able to offer us a hard standing pitch with a few other caravans around his big farmyard. The actual field designated for the usual siting of caravans is lovely, nice views, fairly flat and well kept. The toilets are adequate. Lovely walks from the site and even a bonus swing which my 3 children (6, 4, and 2 years old) loved. All for £10 pn! If we are back in the area we will not hesitate to return to this CL. By the way, the first photo (with the static caravans in the background) is not New House Farm CL, the second photo is.
