A Handy CL just north of Boston
The site is about 7 miles north of Boston and easily accessible from the A52. Site is about 600 yards down Wrangle Common road. Just as you see a road junction coming in on the right look for the sign and entrance gate on the right. Wrangle Common road is fairly narrow and has one or two passing places. However you can see as far as you need to. Being situated in an agricultural area you may come across a tractor or lorry transporting the mainly Brassicas to market. We never met anything on this road in the 4 days we spent here but there is quite a bit of this sort of traffic noise.
The CL is very pleasant. It has 1 Hardstanding otherwise the rest are Grass. There is a water tap, water disposal point and EHU on each pitch although I wouldn't call them your normal Serviced Pitches. The Elsan point is a fair trek across the field. All of the pitches have some shelter behind them with well matured trees or bushes.
The owner, Mr.Edwards senior called and is very amenable. His house is the one on the left as you look from the CL. His DiL handled the booking and lives in the other house.
We were able to access areas that we came to visit to the north and south so the position was ideal. Nearest town is Boston with several supermarkets. There is a bus stop in Wrangle which will take you up to Skegness or down to Boston.
Very good value. Wifi and phone signal worked well from site.
