Lovely peaceful site!

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay at Neuaddwen, Brynhoffnant, in June/July. We were made very welcome by Nicky and Hector (lively dog!) on the day of arrival and soon settled in. The posse of five ducks was hilarious, coming out from their pond area and surveying the camping field periodically throughout each day - most amusing to watch! Good facilities too. The site has great access to many lovely beaches, towns and hence the coastal path, (though the Welsh walking is quite challenging up and down.) There is a great view across the valley, all very pastoral. As others have commented, the fresh farm eggs were wonderful! In all, a great place for a peaceful holiday, long or short. We really enjoyed Neuaddwen. Thank you Mr and Mrs Rowe! Gordon and Sue

Frienly owners

Very warm and friendly owners, very helpful. Very relaxing stay at this superb site. Handy for touring the area. The home made preserves were amazing and fresh eggs available every day. I would have no hesitation to recommend this site. We will be back.

Best welcome we have had

Recently returned from an eight night stay on this lovely CL. Welcomed by lovely owners with a very useful information sheet. A peaceful and tranquil site with easy access, where nothing was too much trouble and within walking distance of the village facilities. Attention to detail, included a pretty on-site hut with an array of delicious homemade jams, marmalade and chutney, along with freshly laid eggs. The beautiful laburnum hedge behind the caravans provided shelter from any prevailing winds and the views were far-reaching. The resident hens, ducks, dogs and horses provided good entertainment throughout our stay! On our day of departure, the owners made time in their busy lives to wish us farewell, which we felt was such a lovely touch. We would thoroughly recommend this site! Paul & Jill

Great find

Just returned from a four night stay at Neuaddwen and what a great find. We had not stayed on a CL site since we began caravanning last year and were a little nervous as to what it would be like. Neuaddwen is a hidden gem - although it is very easy to find with easy access. Russell and Nikki who own it are so friendly and helpful and able to offer lots of local information - all the pitches have views across the hayfield to the distant hills - we were entertained by the animals on the farm including the duck, an indian runner, who provided great entertainment running up and down the field. The homemade chutneys, jams and marmalades, made by Nikki and for sale on site, were delicious. The site is well situated for visiting lots of different places in the area - what else can I say other than we will definitely visit again and would highly recommend as a great place to stay.

First site after the lockdown!!

We chose this site as a quiet location to enjoy the West Wales coast. Nicky gave us a warm welcome with plenty of information about the site and surroundings. The site is ideally located and has easy access from the main road between Cardigan and Aberaeron. There is a shop attached to a local garage within easy walking distance. The nearest coast is 2 miles away and we would recommend a visit. New Quay and Cwmtydi are within easy reach. We were lucky with the weather although on the last day of our holiday it did snow and was very cold. On site there is a duck pond with a running duck and the chickens freely wander, with lovely fresh eggs for sale. The facilities are well maintained and care has been given to comply with the Covid-19 problem. The water and waste disposal points have hand sanitiser available. The five pitches are clearly marked with plenty of space and easy access to the electrical hook-up. The site is slightly sloping and initially gave us a small problem mainly due to the wet grass and lack of traction! However this was easily overcome and we used the mover to get the caravan in the right position. I don't think any unit either caravan or Motorhome would have any problems. Overall we had a very pleasant, quiet stay and would recommend this site.

A Peaceful and Very Friendly Site

My wife and I would thoroughly recommend this site if you like a peaceful and quiet stay for adults only. There are lovely views and the chickens and ducks wandering free make for a tranquil and enjoyable setting. The owners are friendly and supportive and are only too pleased to offer help or advice on where to visit or eating out. The local shop in the nearby garage is like a Tardis, it has a huge stock of groceries, fruit and veg and household items as well as newspapers - only a short walk from the site.

4night stay

Just returned home after a 4 night stay. Really enjoyed ourselves. Nicky and Russell are very friendly and bend over backwards to be helpful. With no light pollution the stars are incredible on a clear night Will definitely stay here again if we visit the area Thanks very much Nicky and Russell

Peaceful and calm week

This site is a total gem in a beautiful location. Easy to find and good access which was important for us as being new caravanners. We received a warm welcome, especially from Hector the dog! Nicky and Russ were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and where to go. Lovely pitch with amazing views but it was the peace and quiet we enjoyed the most. Lots of places to visit nearby and the little information shed on site was very helpful. Well stocked shop a short walk or drive away. Was perfect for our week away and will definitely be returning.
