Fab site

Fantastic little site, our first visit but will not be our last. As mentioned there is a slight slope to the field but nothing to worry about, loads of space to turn the van around and a simple reverse onto your chosen pitch. Remember to back up to the fence as this is where Gray waste is fed and makes it easier. Bit of a hike to the Brown waste at the top of the field but again not a real issue. Nice walk down to the river, about 1.5 miles, and a lovely pub and access to Severn Valley railway. Also good fishing on the river, ask Tracey about options.

Idyllic CL in the Severn Valley

We visited Nash End for a long weekend arriving on Friday 7th June. The CL is located on Lion Lane about 75m past the second entry to the farm. There’s a little sign at the second entry but it’s easy to miss it. Thankfully, John was on hand to direct us and the local bus very kindly backed up so that we could navigate through the 5-bar gate into the field. Tracy welcomed us and pointed out where EHU’s and water to each pitch are positioned (easy to find along the boundary ), and the grey and black water disposal point - not quite like the site photo and a bit overgrown and located at the top of the field which has a pronounced slope so it could be an issue if you have any mobility problems but was fine for me. Getting level took a little work with ramp and blocks but once set up we had the whole CL to ourselves for the weekend. Views from the CL of the River Severn valley (including periodic sightings of the trains), the Wyre Forest and farmland. The evening sunsets were just beautiful. We walked the Upper Arley Circular Path, the Severn Way upstream to the Severn Country Park, Kinver Edge and Rock Houses, Dudmaston House and Gardens. A great weekend at a lovely CL to which we will return in future.

A little gem

We have been using CL sites for many years now - both the rough and the smooth but Nash End Farm is definitely a first class site and we would recommend it to everyone. The area is lovely with lots of walking - we walked alongside the River Severn Way several times. Dudmaston Hall and Comer Woods are within a short distance as are Harvington Hall and the Kinver Rock Houses so theres lots to do if you want to get out and about. Arley Arboretum, just down the road, has a lovely cafe which you can use even if you are not going into the Arboretum - very nice cake ! The site has wonderful views and the whole area is so peaceful. The owners are very friendly and helpful so our stay at Nash End was perfect. Thank you very much indeed.

Outstanding Little Site

We arrived just as owners were going out for the evening, they turned back to welcome us and settle us in. Lovely big field next to orchard, very pretty and beautiful views. Only 1 mile to Arley Station on Severn Valley Railway where we attended a heritage event. Young cattle in field next door were cute but not too noisy or smelly. We will be back!

All we need from a cl

Easy to find due to signing off the main road, a large slightly sloping field with each pitch having its own water and ehu. A standard cassette point at the top of the field (green fluid only) with waste and recycling bins. Exceptionally quiet and peaceful we had a hare mouching round our van, yet easy access to attractions, we went to Ironbridge in about 20 mins.

Great site

Superb site in a great location with spectacular views. We are only based a few miles away but wanted a local site for quick peaceful get aways. Nash End Farm fits the bill. Tracy provided a warm welcome and explained all we needed to know. Site is on an incline but even to us as novices it didn't proof too much of an issue. Will return

One of the Best

Wow, what a super site - we loved it! We loved this site for the peace and quiet, and it came with super views too. Also, there is plenty to do in the area, with great walking from the site. The Arboretum just down the road is well worth a visit, and has a super cafe that you can access without paying to go into the gardens. The Harbour Inn is the nearest pub just over the River Severn about 20min walk from the site - basic pub grub done well and local real ales with friendly staff. There is also a great farm shop and cafe up the A422 in the Bridgnorth direction. It has to be one of the most spacious sites we have stayed at, and we had it all to ourselves most of our ten day stay. There was a torrential downpour just before we arrived, but because it is well drained on a slight slope with good thick grass there were no muddy problems. Will we visit again? You bet! Chris n Jen

Hidden Gem

A perfect site to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside. The site is kept well tidy, nestled in an old orchard.Gently sloping so chocks may be needed. Each pitch is well spaced and all have own water tap and EHU. With beautiful views of the Shropshire area a place we really don’t want to share but Tracy and John will make you very very welcome . Arley parish, is just a gentle 15min walk , 5min drive,to find the Arley Arboretum with tea rooms . The village boasts a lovely riverside cafe and access over the River Severn to Arley Station /Severn Valley ….and Harbour Pub. We have found our Happy Place. Gail , Clive and 3Border Terriers.
