This site advertises as a CL. But it does not conform to the accepted definition of a CL ...a quiet 5 caravan site offering a very different experience from that provided by larger sites. It claims that the facilities are for the exclusive use of the CL users but in fact they are used by the 10 pitches in the site adjacent to the supposed CL site. So if you are looking for a quiet CL tucked away, and by virtue of those facts preferred to a larger site, this is not the site for you. A reviewer back in 2014 made the same point. The facilities are acceptable but the shower floor seems to have subsided as the water runs everywhere. And £1 a shower is exhorbitant. Our showers averaged 25 p each. The games room is uninviting, dark and gloomy. The setting is glorious with lovely views but exposed and windy. Access from the south involves narrow roads and potentially difficult passing with a large van. Much is made by other reviewers of the footballing dog. We found him a nuisance, barking incessantly for someone to play with him. All in all disappointing experience in that we thought we were going to a CL and found the site something else entirely.
