We have stayed on this lovely site at least five times now. If you want all singing all dancing pitches and facilities this is not the site for you. If you want peace and tranquility you will definitely find it here. The field is a little bumpy and hilly but there is plenty of space so easy enough to find a flat pitch, (ramps are helpful though). Lovely views especially from the top end of the field, and the only noise is of the birds and the occasional passing tractor. Dumfries and Galloway is a beautiful area with so much to see and do. We always enjoy visiting Castle Douglas, (especially the amazing "Outback Yarns" shop which sells almost everything you could want for almost every arts and crafts hobby). Kircudbright is stunning, we love the Harbour Gallery, and the pies from Corson Bakers. We have also enjoyed visits to Threave Gardens and Threave Nature Reserve, (Ospreys), and the Galloway Forest is beautiful.
