Not sure to be honest

The site is overlooking the Solent and therefore quite lovely, easy to park on level hard standing and a lawned area to the front with well kept grass. The overall area is lovely to look at and the hills in the distance are a sight for sore eyes, they are truly amazing. The host was most welcoming and greeted us on her visit to manage the site and spent some time with us which was nice. We visited many local attractions and the weather complimented our stay to make it most enjoyable, the castles and the walks are lovely, recommend the sculpture walk, details in the shower area. Information available for all in the shower area and eggs if required so why the reservations?? Well the Solent looks lovely but has awful shores so can’t be walked on, the approach to the CL site is through a small village and a number of farm buildings that quite frankly look a mess and the single track road is in need of resurfacing. The site facilities are in need of updating I think the water supply is by a caravan space and if occupied would be very difficult to access, the shower is interesting to say the least. I am quite glad I have experienced one of these now as it would satisfy me never to buy one as not very practical at all and tiny in size as was the room where it was sited. Great host and basic site with acceptable facilities but let down by the approach and the Solent shores neither of which the site owners can do anything about but worthy of mention I believe, if you don’t expect great things this site is fine you could be quite shocked if this is the first visit to a CL site as not the best I have visited by a good margin I am afraid.
