Immaculate Site

We have just returned for a 5 night stay at this immaculate site.. The field is well kept and we were met on arrival by Susie who pointed out the facilities ( and collected the payment haha £20 per night inc EHU) . Also , no restrictions on pitching your caravan and left to your preference . There are 7 very large spacious pitches which all have their own EHU and water point, but only 5 are ever used at one time which makes for even better space and done specifically by the owners to give choice and space . The site is very quiet too making it extremely relaxing . There is a very clean and well laid out service area for Grey waste , Elsan point and recycling ) which is not too far away from all the pitches . There are no toilets etc which suits us perfectly in our choice of CL. Sunsets thro the trees each evening were lovely to see as were some of the wildlife that visited too. There are 2 local shops , 2 Take Aways and a pub in the local village and the site is positioned in such a place it is easy to visit Bridlington, Hornsea, Beverley and Driffield etc on East Coast . Highly recommended and we will return

Excellent CL

Just returned after 2 weeks at this very good CL. Very large fully serviced pitches. Good communication with the owners who work hard to keep the site looking immaculate.A well labelled recycling area and a very clean chemical disposal point. Will definitely use this site again if in the area.

Mature Couple

Excellent site. Access through village rather tight but manageable. Spacious and flat with trees if needed for shade (not in the first week of October). Water at pitch very convenient. Good access to places of interest.

Fabulous CL Site

Stayed June 2023. Beware - there are two Moor Edge Farm CL’s, the other one being in Derbyshire, I had an embarrassing time ringing the wrong one initially to confirm our booking. This site sends an email reply when booking but I’d made it so far in advance, I’d forgotten so entirely my own fault. In a large Moho, 8.6m long, 2.3m wide & 3.23m high. We came through Brandesburton which is tight with a sharp right turn onto Frodingham Road. We did a recce on our bikes and found it’s better to come in off A165 at Beeford B1249 towards North Frodingham which would also be tight for a large Moho. Therefore turn left onto Grange Road, right onto Cross Road then left back onto Frodingham Road with the farm entrance then on your left and that’s how we left. Beautiful peaceful well cared for grass site on a working farm. Huge well spaced pitches on this fairly new (2021) site. Each one has its own 16 amp EHU & fresh water on pitch with Chemical Disposal, grey waste & bins including recycling in a neat enclosure well away from the pitches. A dog walk sign is to the right but we didn’t use this. The Mifi with EE SIM worked well for our online needs of TV & Internet. We like cycling (electric bikes) away from traffic as much as possible & found Trans Pennine way route to Hornsea one day & then went to Beverley the next which was mostly cycle paths, brilliant. Fab chip shop in Brandesburton. Excellent communication on site, thank you to Suzie & Tom :-)

Excellent

First visit but definitely not the last, could easily become our go to site, just an hour from home. Lovely large pitches with tap and electric on each pitch. Very well kept site with excellent recycling facilities. Extremely peaceful just what the doctor ordered, zero stress here. Short drive to coast, tesco with fuel in Hornsea. Friendly owner and excellent communication throughout the booking process. Well done on creating such a lovely site.

This is the best CL

Exceptionally well cared for. Grass mown short, very tidy. Easy access. Excellent communication with owners. Very peaceful, spacious, excellent, fantastic to have water on each pitch and 16 amp hook up too. Deserves six ticks not five. Need I say more?

Delightfully quiet site

A lovely CL. Very spacious with excellent facilities. A tap on each pitch is always a bonus! Level and well kept grass. Extremely peaceful yet within easy reach of market towns Driffield and Beverley, and the seaside towns of Hornsea and Bridlington. Would thoroughly recommend and will be returning next year!

Weekend Break

Only 1 hour from home. We arrived in torrential rain but by Saturday the sun came out. Lovely, peaceful site with plenty of room on each pitch. Great base to visit nearby Hornsea. Mr Moo's if a must. Loved our time here. Thank you Susie

What a gem!

We have just spent a week at this absolute gem of a CL! It's obvious that the owners have invested a lot of time, money and effort into providing first class facilities, including individual water taps on each pitch alongside EHU. The grey water and chemical disposal points, together with the rubbish bins (including recycling) are kept very clean and Susie (the lovely owner) cleaned them each day and keeps the site's grass well mown. We couldn't have wanted for more. It's one of the most relaxed stays that I remember for a long time - despite being busy in the daytime visiting the many attractions in the area. As I was attending both the Coachman Caravan factory and their 2023 Preview Day (held at The Beverley Barn) we couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay. We will definitely return.
