A delightful, well kept CL with very friendly owners.
We stayed here for the second week of September - weather was fair but damp at times. When heavy rain was forecast one day we were asked to park cars on hardstanding by the entrance - no problem and it stopped the grass getting cut up. The grounds are well kept - good grass, lovely flowers. The owners - Ann and Colin are very welcoming and friendly and Ann is especially helpful with recommendations for local pubs to visit. An easy drive into Bridport which has a big Morrisons and a (nearer) Co-Op supermarket. Good shops in town. Internet access available in the local library, 30 minutes free of charge.
As reported elsewhere the access road is narrow in places but there are plenty of passing places. The entrance to the CL is fine with a wide swing. No problem with our 7.6m van.
Weymouth and Lyme Regis are both a short drive away, but on another occasion I would consider parking in Bridport and using the bus service.
This CL is on our list for a re-visit.
