We chose this CL to visit our son who is at university in Loughborough. We arrived in the dark but had been warned when booking to take a wide swing into the driveway so had no problems. We were met at the gate by Mr Cutler who was very friendly and explained where everything was. He recommended the local pub and even phoned them to see if they could fit the five of us in on the Saturday night. The site itself is a level grass field with views of the animals in the fields. It was wet but not churned up or muddy. There is plenty of room between the vans and we were told to pitch any way we preferred. Electricity is metered but we only used a couple of pounds all weekend even using the heating. There are plenty of walks in the area,and we visited Bradgate Park which was free to walk round just pay to park. There are shops within walking or short drive and we spent a great evening in the local pub in Cossington where even the dog was welcome. We were surprised at how much there is to do in the area and we will defiantly use this site again.
