Great site

Easy to find and were left to select our own pitch. Owner very friendly. Enjoyed our 9 night stay and would use this site again without hesitation. Easy bus access to York and a friendly pub just up the road.

Short stay In May 24

I visited and stayed at Meadow Farm for 4 nights to escape the builders at home. Perfect choice!!! Quiet, peaceful, scenic and big enough for good separation between other users. With the added bonus of easy access by bus to York, I will definitely be back. Thankyou for having me

Perfect site

We spent two nights here and it was perfect. Bus stops outside to York or Scarborough so we had a nice morning in York. Owner has a lovely German Shepherd dog that did come on to the site a couple times, our dog is very protective of our van and it did catch us unaware. Not a criticism of site though after all it is their home just to let people know in case they have a reactive dog.

Quiet and just what we needed

Motorhomer review Lovely quiet site despite being fairly close to main road. Warm welcome then left to ourselves with clear directions to knock if we needed anything. Met some great folk who were regular visitors. Two night stay en rote North. Easy bus route in to York. Will definitely come again. Thank tou

Excellent site

This is a nice well kept site with friendly helpful owners. There is easy access to the coastliner bus near by. This provides access to York. Also to Whitby and Scarborough if you don't mind some time on the bus. There is also a park and ride not far away that gives easy access to York without large parking fees. Everything is just as it would be expected to be.

Left to our own devices

When we arrived we were met with a closed gate which made things awkward with a 26ft twin axle van as we were blocking a busy road. My wife spent a while trying to find the owners and then we were told to "pitch anywhere" that was the last we saw of him! The field was knee deep in mud and covered in molehills. The only redeeming factor is that it is near to the A64 and close to the park and ride into York.        We called at the house five times to try and pay. It seemed that nobody was interested.

Relaxing weekend

This site is easy to get to of the A64 but advise turning left out of the lane towards the main roundabout if you are departing to the east coast and coming back on your self. The site is very level and of a sonny location and easy near the park and ride York or Monks cross for all your shopping. The owners are very helpful and easy going.
