Super stay at great new site
We spent 18 nights at this site and loved everyone of them.
Spotless and well maintained.
We found there was ample space on and around each pitch.
The owners were lovely. Friendly and helpful.
The only downside for us was the road to the local pub was busy and narrow with no footpath.
You definitely need a car to go anywhere.
I would definitely recommend this great site.

great CL site
we stayed on this wonderful site for 7 days . pitches are excellent with all facilities catered for .
The owners are very helpful and would return to this site time and time again .
I would like to say a big thankyou to louise who was there for me in my hour of need when my husband needed an ambulance calling late at night. She stayed with me until they came for over 3 hours so went that extra mile . Fortunately everything turned out ok and we still managed to enjoy our holiday . big thumbs up

Perfection
Just arrived home after a three night stay at Meadow Cottage, the welcome we received was first class, very friendly and extremely helpful host with details and Maps for the surrounding areas of interest, the site was perfect for us, beautiful surroundings with lovely dog walks just along the road, along with an enclosed area on site for dogs, very quiet site and your electric hook up/water tap pod is cleaned and sanitised before and after your use, excellent site security with the coded gate for entry and exit, excellent location to visit the New Forest and Dorset coast, I have already booked to return in a couple of weeks time , would highly recommend this site.
A real gem!
We spent 10 nights here in May and found it to be a great location to visit lots of Historic Houses/Gardens at a beautiful time of year. It is a family run site and is well laid out and run in a very friendly and efficient way. A real treat is the open evening at the local brewery (walking distance) with a pizza van selling the most amazing pizza! For NT members it is close to Kingston Lacy which gives hours of pleasure. We are sure this CL will become very popular in time as it becomes established.
A lovely few days away
We arrived at this easy to find site and was greeted by two lovely ladies who had lots of information about the local area
We were allocated pitch one which we were very happy with as it was level and fully serviced like the other three
On Easter Sunday we went to the Horton Inn and had a delicious roast dinner in really nice surroundings
We will return to this pleasant site in the future and suggest a car is needed
Pretty Site
This is a new site, which i believe is not yet in the club book. The owner was very pleasant and was certainly taking the Covid situation seriously, you would see her wiping all handled surfaces on a regular basis.
The setting for this site was very picturesque , and was well secured with a coded gateway, you can expect a good lie in as there was virtually nothing to disturb you. I did feel that some of the marked out pitches could have done with a tad more levelling, this would have made it easier if you were erecting an awning. But I believe that this may well be corrected soon. Each pitch has a light, own waste drain and services and our pitch had no problem with TV, but my wife had to walk fifty yards to get a good out going phone service.
Walks in the area are plentiful and not too strenuous, plus you can walk quarter of mile up the road to one of many golf courses in the area, where you can also use the club house for food.
It would take too long to list all amenities in the area but that is the pleasure of Dorset.
I wish the owner all the best in this new project and i hope it goes well for her, if visiting this area again i will not hesitate to re-book.

An Absolute Gem of a CL !
We took pitch no.1 for our 4 night September stay.
We were very impressed with the electric keypad gate into the field, very convenient and secure. Also, we really appreciated having our own individual pod for the electric hookup, water tap and grey water disposal , an unexpected delight having a serviced pitch on a CL, what luxury!
The owner was lovely and extremely helpful with local information.
There was a great little farm shop kiosk along the lane which supplied daily milk, bread, eggs and cakes etc.
Plenty of wonderful footpaths and bridleways, especially in and around the nearby Remedy Oaks Golf Club.
We often stopped for a coffee or lunch on the lovely terrace of the clubhouse there mid-stroll, it was a friendly and welcoming spot.
Also, another great discovery during our stay was Remedy Oak Brewery, a new independent brewery which, to our delight, open a tap room (amongst the vats) to the public on Fridays from 4pm! This was a lovely spot, just a short stroll from the site.
We cycled to nearby Verwood, (about 3 miles) which had all amenities including 3 pubs ( with various dining options.)
The New Forest and the beautiful Dorset coast are about half and hour away, and Wimborne Minster about 10 mins drive, is a very pleasant place to stop.
Can’t wait to return to Meadow Cottage, we absolutely love this part of Dorset and are really looking forward to seeing the Lake and the landscaping mature to its full potential.
It’s a wonderful spot.

Lovely site
Retired couple in 7m motorhome.
We spent a couple of nights on this lovely site in early September. Generously sized pitches all with water and electricity.
Set in lovely countryside; Wonderfully quiet especially at night.
Easy walks or bike rides to local pub and shops. Even a micro brewery just round the corner that has open days and tasting opportunities.
Neighbouring golf club permits visitors to its restaurant.
30 min drive to Bournemouth and all that offers.
Site team very friendly and helpful.
