1st TIME VISIT

First time at this site and not disappointed. On arrival was met by Rose the owner who gave us a nice welcome. The site was exceptionally laid out with hard standing pitches that have just been installed or nice grass pitches if required. The toilet was very clean and they have recycling facilities. Rose came to say bye and to ask if we enjoyed our stay. As we only live 30 mins away will definitely be returning. Thank you again Rose for a well kept site.     TONY AND SANDRA

Bank Holiday weekend break

We chose this site for its peaceful location and this was our first trip with our new caravan. On arrival we were met by the owner who was friendly and welcoming. The field was a little wet so we were directed to park in the dryer part of the field. The field is spacious and it felt as though we had the whole field to ourselves. The location is dog friendly with walks around the farm direct from the field where you pitch. The village of Beeford has a chip shop pub and Chinese restaurant and takeaway, so no need to cook if you don’t want to. Skipsea Hornsea and Bridlington are all within easy reach of this location. There are no showers, only two toilets of the site. These are spotlessly clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this location for a quiet getaway. We look forward to visiting again every future.

Short stay, Motor home, two adults and a dog

Just returned from a very pleasant three night stay. Easy access, Loads of space, site flat and very well kept with short grass and collected cuttings (no mess in the van). Lovely welcome from Rose who has lots of local knowledge and works hard to keep the site and facilities nice and clean for her visitors. A little road noise sometimes but not horrendous. Excellent walks around the farm fields and ideal for dog owners. Would definitely return. Atto and Val

Nice little peaceful cl site

Me and the wife Ann just got back from McKie`s site after 2 weeks stay, another great stay very peaceful and relaxing. Very good site to stay if your looking for wildlife around the countryside. Rose is a hands on person and nothing is to much trouble for her to help out if needed. Close to bridlington also scarborough if you need the coast to visit. We like visiting this site as its every think we like. Will be going again in the near future as its one of the best

Flat field

Large site. Field was so flat didn't need to use leveller. Everything spotlessly clean. Lovely walk around adjacent field. Rose was very pleasant and helpful.

Tranquil campsite

We have just returned home after 3 nights here. What a super site welcomed by Rosie & her little boys. Lovely views, spotless toilet facilities with hot/cold water. We were on the Rally field as the cl was full but this was no problem plenty of room, grass cut short. Highly recommended. We shall definitely be back.

Lovely CL site

We saw the weather forecast was going to be unusually warm for a bank holiday so not expecting to find a site with only a couple of days notice we phoned on the off chance, and so pleased we did, although Rose couldn't get us on the CL site she has a rally field and we would be welcome to use it. What a perfect weekend chill out in the countryside, fantastic 3 fields to walk the dog round, exceptional toilet block, and managed to watch the combine harvester at work, highly recommend a visit and we definitely be returning for more weekend breaks.

McKie's Caravan Park, Great Site.

Just had thirteen nights at this fantastic site, only booked for six nights but the site was just like the other reviews stated for peace and tranquility so we decided to extend our stay, My wife Ann loved the wild life there. Owls also plenty of rabbits with the larger hare in among the camp site. Rose came to see us later in the week to explain the lay of the site. Everything as already been said about this site and it is spot on. We will be booking again sometime next month. Great little gem of a site

Tranquillity , Wildlife , Great Views !

Just spent 5 nights at McKies cl at Beeford , easily accessed from the road with enough pull off to get your caravan in to a safe spot , open the gate and there it is picture perfect. Rosie got back to us really quickly and instructed us of the above , the field was just about level , well mown and well set out , we had the site to ourselves , which was nice. Superb little toilet block, no shower but not an issue for us , elsan , water and grey all marked and recycle facilities . Rosie popped down with Monty her son and we were made to feel most welcome , explained the lay of the land regarding dog walking , smiles all round. Deer , Hare and birdlife a plenty to add to the great setting Good site for the coast , Hornsea , Bridlington and great dog walking beaches at Barmston , Fraisthorpe are only 15 mins drive. Shop , great chippy and nice pub The Tiger at other end of Beeford. The Black Horse at Atwick is worth a drive out . In all a great site , Thanks again Rosie !!.

Peace perfect peace

This site is perfect for a rest and relaxation weekend but close enough to Bridlington and other East Coast seaside towns and villages. We spent 2 nights here 29th & 30th June 2018 and came home feeling totally chilled! A big thank you to Rose and family for a lovely site on which to spend a very enjoyable weekend. Our 3 dogs enjoyed their stay too!
