On returning this year it appeared that the site was in need of a bit of TLC, as the hard pitches were filling in with weeds & the grass was rather long. Following on from all the discussions concerning spacing between vans, should all the hard pitches be full with caravanners erecting awings there would not be the required space between the units. The site is ideal for anyone who wishes to walk the Sandstone Trail. There is a good farm shop 3/4ml down the road, a small Co-op at Malpas, and Tesco at Whitchurch is the nearest large supermarket. There are 3 good pubs for meals all within 3 mls from the site but too far to walk comfortably. Manor Farm has cottages to rent and also does B&B. As the site is nice quiet I would definitely recommend it for those wanting a peaceful site well within stricking distance of both Chester & Wrexham.
