Just had 5 nights here and what a great little site this is. We were the only van on for four of the nights, the views are great, site is very clean and tidy. We will be definitely returning.Â
A little gem
A good find , quiet , fabulous views , ideally situated for Wensleydale. Will definitely be returning very soon.
An Oasis of Calm
We stayed here for one week and could not believe we were the only caravan on site! As other reviewers have stated, this is a fantastically well kept CL with stunning views of Penhill and the beautiful surrounding countryside. Mr and Mrs Booton are very welcoming and ensure the site is clean and tidy. We will definitely be returning as soon as we can to enjoy this wonderful CL again.

Use it or loose it!!
Well we've just returned from another long weekend at this beautiful CL. Yet again we were the only ones there. Mr Booton puts a lot of effort into keeping this site clean tidy and well maintained, and we have spent the weekend racking our brains as to why more people aren't using this site. We spoke to Mr Booton over the course of the weekend and he was at a loss of why his numbers had been falling over the last year or two, so much so that he wondered if it was worth carrying on running the CL. We implored him not to close as his site was one of two that we continually return to. I know this sounds like shooting one's self in the foot, as we all like to keep of little gems secret, but both my wife and I would hate to see this one go. So come on folks use it or loose it!!

Relaxing Wildlife Watching.
Only our third visit to a CL and already booked to return. As said before wildlife abounds, Hare's, Roe Deer, Jays all seen from our pitch. Only downside is the central electric point but, having read the previous reviews I took 2 cables.
Gem of a CL
Just returned from yet another relaxing weekend at Manor Farm, although the weather did let itself down on our day of departure. This is a very basic site but perfect for those get away from it all hols. Having said it's basic it has everything you need, a tidy recycling point (plenty of bins) easy thunder box emptying point and a a good fresh water point all located together at the entrance to the CL, and electrics. There is only one central distribution point for the electrics but Mr Booton does supply extra extension cables for those furthest away from it, but we always take our own any way. Access to the site is reasonable down narrow country lanes, take your time and you'll be fine. As stated before there is any number of walks from the site and a great trout fishery only minutes away. Wild life abounds here and its no suprise to see deer wandering past the CL or in the woods behind. The site can be a little exposed at times but the up side of this is magnificent views down the valley towards Pen Hill and Middleham and across the valley to Jervaulx Abbey. We have been many many times to Manor Farm and hope to return many more.

We will return...
Lovely lawned area with spectacular views, and friendly, helpful owners. Take an evening stroll to the church and pretty village - no pub, but you can swap your paperbacks in the small hall! We wined and dined at the Queens Head in nearby Finghall - great early-bird menu. Fab 7 mile circular walk from the site taking in Jervaulx Abbey. We will return...
