A quick test

I was looking for a local site so I could practice setting up my awning, making mistakes with no one watching. Lower Withacott was the perfect place quiet and with well manacured lawn. I was on the last pitch so the caravan hid my mistakes from the other pitches. It's the perfect CL all the facilities are A1 and the views are excellent, great welcome from David. Despite only living 9 miles away we may well be back it's so good.

Delightful CL

This really is a delightful little site! It’s easy to find, peaceful, and so friendly. I hope to come back and definitely recommend it!

Lovely little CL

Very easy access to this site, slight confusion as we pulled off the road but the owner guided us. Level grass site with EHU and water points. Nice views towards Exmoor - very rural. Owner very cheerful - we had a nice chat and he called around again at the end of our stay to check that all had gone well. The site is very quiet and peaceful and quite spacious. The Chemi waste was the best set up we've found so far - OK a bit mundane but it is important and the last thing you generally do at a site. There isn't much in the way of walking from the site though David said that we could walk around on his land. We used it as a base to do the Tarka trail between Bideford and Meeth - cracking cycling. The Bull and Dragon pub in Meeth was worth the effort to get to. We also cycled to the Union Inn in the village - meal was OK but the pub lacked any atmosphere. Definitely, recommend the site
