A small pleasant, quiet, well maintained site on working farm. The site is well laid out. All pitches hardstanding with electric hook ups and a tap between 2 pitches. The grass is mown and well kept. Overlooks Duddon estuary but views in all directions are spectacular. We went to the farm to pay but as this is a working farm no one was around. The owner knocked on our caravan door around teatime to collect our payment. Clean, heated shower block. 3 rooms: 2 with washbasin, shower and toilet. 1 with washbasin and toilet. Walks available directly from campsite. can recommend the walk along the shore of the estuary but check tide times! Short drive to shops and pubs. Best value CL we have been on recently, even though energy price have caused a necessary increase from 1st October 2023. It will be our 'go to' CL. Look forward to returning soon.
