Just spent 5 nights here. Stunning views and we were blessed with good weather which meant fantastic sunsets over t Duddon Sands. Spacious pitches, plenty of water taps, clean toilets and showers. A great base for exploring Southern Lake District. Heed the advice about how to get here !! Once you are a couple of miles past Ulverston heading west it is safe to engage sat nav, be aware the last few miles are on narrow busy roads. Just as a curiosity we drove out of Ulverston, without the caravanm and used the sat nav, never again, it took us on tracks with car mirrors catching the hedge on both sides at the same time and the road surface was very rough
