We stayed for 5 nights as we were visiting family nearby.
We did not expect it to be as nice as it was. Our first impression on arrival was WOW at the condition and expanse of the field. There is good recycling kept in a neat and tidy area together with the elsan point (no separate grey) but then it all goes to the same place anyway.. A credit to the grounds person.
The CL is relatively flat. The scenery a big bonus. We just wished the weather had of been kinder to us, so that we could have really appreciated our surroundings. We will most definitely visit again!
A lot of vans visit for the ferry, but if you can stay a little longer you will truly enjoy your stay, as there are lots of cycle and walking routes from the site to enjoy.
We only give 4 stars for the ease of arrival and welcome as the approach is narrow through the village and we did not actually meet the owners,
The only negative we could potentially see was the EHU hook up (10 amp) is situated in the farthest end of the long field in the centre so rather than pitching up along the fence on either side, you will need to park up around the supply or risk your cable being driven over by others or a trip hazard that may arrive if you plug in with a long cable outstretched, but saying this, it did not affect our stay.
Great CL site
We are a caravan and used this site for a 1 night stay for the ferry crossing. We used this site about 4 years ago. I highly recommend it. Its level. Big open space and even a sea view. £15 a night inc Electric. I would recommend staying here to explore the area too.

Took a chance and glad we did.
We were looking for a site to explore Deal and the surrounding area and found this site in the newly opened CL section in a recent magazine. Keen to support a new enterprise we booked for 5 nights. The site is close to the A2 however limited road noise heard which did not spoil our stay, the approach road is narrow with passing places.
The site consists of a large, level grass field with water and waste facilities, 10 amp electricity is available. Views across the countryside towards the channel provided a pleasant back drop.
The site is convenient for tunnel and ferry stops as well as for longer stays to explore the local area, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
