What a perfect site!

First time at a CL and can only hope the rest are anywhere near as good as Longacre Farm CL. Stayed for three nights and what a brilliant site, massive field with loads of space between pitches, clean toilets and shower. Good recycling and waste management. Very peaceful and well recommended, we didn't mind the trainline at the back at all, it's down in a cutting so not noisy. Feels like you're in the middle of nowhere but so convenient for all the New Forest Attractions. To top it all off, we got a really nice welcome from the owner, very polite and helpful if you needed it. Really can't recommend the place enough.

Perfect site, great facilities, and very nice owners

Just perfect, lovely CL with great access to the New Forest and coast. Easy going friendly welcome from Geoff. Very clean well maintained toilets and the best shower we've experience on our travels. Peaceful, pretty, and lots of pitch room. Highly recommend.

A gem of a CL, will be staying again!

What a find! The new owners are delightful, the booking process and arrival is simple. Fantastic pitch space along with clean facilities, including a shower, loos and tidy recycling area make this a cut above many larger commercial sites. Highly recommended and will be staying here again.

Brilliant CL

Lovely CL a mile or so outside New Milton with easy access to everything the area has to offer. Only negative is the road outside to either the Plough pub to the north or the Brewers Fare to the south, both 20 min walk. It’s not the sites fault but there are no footpaths at all, not too bad walking in daylight, if you stay alert, but you would be mad to try it in the dark. Lovely friendly owners and way above average toilet and shower facilities, very peaceful and huge pitches. Can’t recommend it enough.

Pleasant CL site

Spacious site and plenty of room between pitches. Toilets and shower was clean and very welcome. We stayed for 5 nights, we were lucky with the weather which made the stay even more pleasant. Will definitely book again when in the area. Good location for the beaches, museums and New Forest.

2 night stay - camper van

Booked and paid by phone - all very easy. Vehicle reg displayed by the gate on arrival. Flat site. No road noise. Trains passed but no issue with noise. Owls can be heard in the evening. Services good. Organised recycling. Shower and toilet facilities are great. Plenty of room on the site. Very easy access to Keyhaven/nature reserves/cycling routes/Hurst Castle/Milford and Lymington. Shame the 'sea baths' at Lymington weren't open. Great site, beautiful area. Thank you.

Great CL

ery pleasant flat field. Loads space for the max 5 Pitches allowed by CL site Two separate loos with wc and Sink separate shower with lots of room and good quality shower and very hot water as required properly controllable. Facilities clearly cleaned regularly Good elsan emptying facility. Hook ups and cold water tap. Had friendly greeting from owner . Understand under current ownership for only three years so older reviews seen elsewhere can to some extent can be ignored. Train noise is regular but after a while note really noticeable , Good access but maybe best to turn right when leaving to avoid telegraph pole and avoid blocking what can be busy road turning left .roundabout to turn around and come back just a minute or so away .No traffic noise due long track to camping field .Will be back .great location its about 15 20 minutes to beaches and many local attractions , and shops .Loads of pubs and takeaways nearby yet it seems in middle of nowhere

Lovely setting and so much space

Just back from a lovely weekend away on the Hampshire coast. We stayed at Long Acre Farm for 3 nights and feel like we've had a week away. Such a warm and friendly welcome from Geoff on arrival. He checked in to see if there was anything we needed and reminded us to get in touch should we have any questions etc. There is so much space between the pitches around the field. Toilet and shower facilities are spacious, clean and tidy. Long Acre Farm is the perfect location if you just want to relax and hang out on site. So much to see and do in the area. Lots of wildlife to look at - rabbits, deer, butterflies, swallows, Magpie and Kestrel (Maggie & Kes) hanging out together on the telegraph pole! Hopefully we'll be back in 2022 if not before.

Great site, perfect for getting back to nature!

For five caravans, the field is large making each pitch very generous. Electricity supply was reliable, TV and mobile reception was excellent. Amenities were very good and exceptionally clean. On arrival, a deer stood at the entrance and watched as we drove past. We also saw lots of squirrels and rabbits which we all loved! Well located for the New Forest and local attractions. A choice of beaches are all within 15-20 minutes. Geoff was very helpful with local knowledge and checking in daily. He also let me borrow a jack so I could replace the wheel on our caravan! We will definitely be staying at Long Acre Farm again.

Lovely CL

Great site with plenty of room between pitches. A warm and friendly reception from Geoff. There are two toilets on site and a separate shower room. Yes there is a railway line nearby but the noise level and the frequency of trains was low and doesn't affect the overall peace and quiet of the site. There is plenty of wildlife to see and even had an owl visit every evening. Plenty to see and do in the area...Barton on Sea is about a 10 min drive and Lymington 15 min. Large supermarket less than 10 mins away. Forest walks also 10 mins drive. We will return. Paul,Jane, Kieran and Amie.
