A wonderful way to begin our holiday. The site is in such a pretty area, waking up to the sound of Curlews and Lambs was so relaxing. Lovely views from the site and plenty of well mown space.We were helpfully guided to a walk with our dogs along the river Greta and it was stunning, ferns and bluebells all along it. Visited Barnard Castle, highly recommended and drove over the dales, could spend alot longer here quite easily. Sheep are everywhere around here of course so dogs do need to be on leads a fair bit, but we still found places to give them a good run. We had a lovely few days here.
