Why stay here ...

The owners would like to say thank you to all members for your support during the past year. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

Situated above Hebden Bridge on the edge of Old Town village, Little Nook Farm is a small, peaceful landscaped site, offering a relaxing environment with panoramic views over the open countryside of the South Pennines.

The site has 3 hard-standings and 2 plastic-reinforced-grass pitches, all with electric hook-up. Caravans and motorhomes up to 7.5 metres welcome. There is a washroom with one wc, a sink and a shower.

Local facilities include the PO/general store incorporating news-agency and off-licence, the cricket club cafe for breakfasts; the Hare and Hounds PH is within walking distance for refreshment and food - B & B accommodation available.

Leisure amenities include the village green/ park, quintessential village cricket, crown green bowling at the Community Centre, and the Mount Skip 9-hole golf course which offers daily rates to non-members.

There is a myriad of easy and challenging footpaths and designated route-ways for keen hikers, recreational ramblers or for just walking the dog; while a range of surfaced cycle routes and undulating off-road paths and tracks provide an alternative adventure.

Local town, Hebden Bridge, offers regular markets plus cute independent shops and cafes; a cinema, Calder Holmes Park, the Rochdale Canal and marina, and a visitor centre at The Town Hall detailing places of historical and contemporary interest, events and special attractions occurring frequently throughout the seasons. Hebden Bridge has hosted in the past twelve months:

  • Folk Festival
  • Burlesque Festival
  • Food & Drink Festival
  • Marching Band contest
  • Piano Festival
  • Vintage Week-end
  • Hand-made Parade
  • Arts Festival
  • Open Studios
  • Open Gardens
  • together with nearby Mytholmroyd Gala, and Agricultural Shows in Todmorden & Halifax.

Such a fabulous campsite

We have just returned from 3 nights at Little Nook. Steve and Jane were very helpful at all times. The pitches and the landscaping around the pitches is beautifully maintained. The location is wonderful looking towards Heptonstall and only a short drive to Hebden Bridge. There is a very good... Show more

A quick one nighter in Hebden

What a hidden gem, the place is immaculate with lovingly tendered landscaping. Toilet and shower facilities are pristine. Steven the owner is very friendly and helpful. There is a little bus every 30 minutes to take you down into Hebden Bridge. What a wonderful CL!

inadequate facilities

Excellent site and well cared for but highly disappointed with toilet facilities. Have just returned from 3 day break and must comment on toilet facilities. 1 toilet, 1 shower, 1 washing up facility, fair enough but how unhygienic in one small room. The room was mouldy on all wall surfaces... Show more
