A really lovely location with uninterupted views of the fields and sand dunes full of wild life! The fields are full of Curlew, Lapwing & Oystercatchers and along the coastline I spotted Sanderling, Redshank, Purple Sandpiper, Turnstone, Eider, Golden Eye and Widgeon. Also a large flock of what it think were Golden Plover resting at dusk but visibility a bit hard so not 100% sure. Fabulous sunsets and cloud formations too. Long sandy beaches in both directions. Plenty to see on the farm with the horses being ridden out and lots of chickens, ducks and guinnea fowl, Very peaceful location and friendly people. Looking forward to a return visit and would recommend early booking as it was fully booked in the Autumn. January has more than made up for it though especially if wildlife is your thing!
