As close to the beach as you can get without getting wet.
One dune away from a huge, deserted beach. Bliss for dogs (once out of the farm site where there are birds and dogs and horses aplenty). Walking excellent. Local pubs great, everyone knows The Ship at Lower Newton but we actually preferred the Joiners Arms. Both need booking and can be walked to. Wonderful location for so many attractions. Lindisfarne, Dunstanburgh, Alnwick, Berwick, Cragside...
Facilties basic but perfectly acceptable. Good hardstanding, plenty of space.
