Perfect Site

This is our second visit to this excellent site. We had a one night stay last year and have just had six nights early September. This site is as near perfection as you can get. Well cut grass with clippings lifted, close by water taps, grey waste and chemical waste disposal points. Peace and quiet with very friendly and helpful owners in a lovely setting on the Moray coast. Even the weather was superb! We will be back next year. Jack and Marion.

A place to be

We have just returned from our 4th visit to this beautifully kept CL and will be going again in a few weeks. There is always a warm welcome from Anne and Bruce. This is a great CL for dogs as there is a quiet country lane for first thing in the morning or last thing at night (cleaning up of course) with a forest walk within walking distance and lots more forests and beautiful sandy beaches for off lead fun within a few miles. Culbin and Roseisle are our favourites. There may be sheep in an adjacent field and 'the chickens' are separated from the CL so not an issue for dogs like mine! Forres and Elgin are within easy reach for shopping and history, there's a lovely theatre at the interesting Findhorn Community and loads of pretty coastal villages. I can also quite happily just admire the view with the occasional RAF jet flying in. Anne was talking about compiling an information folder for visitors and I think that would be a brilliant addition.

Agree with all the previous reviews

We stayed at this CL in July 2015 and fully agree with all the previous comments. A delightful site.

Dream Site

Arrived to extremely warm welcome from Ann and Bruce. The site is immaculately kept. Disposal facilities well designed, easy to use and extremely clean. Grass cut and collected so no cuttings walked into the caravan. Lots of space between pitches, good views and easy dog walks. Plenty of interesting places to visit within a short drive. That's why we booked for 5 nights but extended to 6 - would have liked longer but commitments didn't allow so we will be back.

A GEM OF A CL

Just spent 4 nights at Lea Rig. What a gem of a site. The owners Ann & Bruce give visitors a warm welcome and have developed a superb CL. With plenty of space, the site is immaculately maintained with all facilities close to hand. The pitches are all on well cut grass and surrounded by maturing shrubs & trees. Will definitely return again.

The Very Best

My wife and I, together with sister-in-law and brother-in-law, visited Lea Rig for the second time in June this year. Once again, it was well worth the 400 mile journey to this gem of a CL. The owners have put a great deal of thought and effort into the layout and facilities provided. Set in a rural location, yet handy for nearby Elgin, Lea Rig is ideally placed for visiting the many attractions that Speyside has to offer, especially the Malt Whisky Trail! Whilst the site itself is on a hillside, the immaculate grass pitches are level and well spaced out in an open and pleasant environment. We certainly hope to return again in the near future.
