Not what we expected
If you think you are going to have an un-obilterated view of Bassenthwaite Water (as per the picture) you, like us, will be massively disapointed.
The site now has 2 wooden clad Mobile homes (See https://kilnhillbarn.co.uk/) Lodges at the front of the site obscuring the veiws from the CL pitches which are now placed further to the back.
As an aside, on leaving the site, it was difficult to see the traffice coming from the right and you have to be a long way out of the entrance to get a clear veiw.
It is very unlikely that we will be visiting this site again.
