Good visit

A pleasant and simple site with pitches leading off a stone access track running slightly downhill and at 90 degrees to Doverdale Lane.  The entrance off Doverdale Lane is such that it can only be accessed with a caravan from the Droitwich direction.  Each pitch has a stone hard standing that is long enough for a caravan and tow car in front of it.  Alongside each pitch is a terraced area of grass for an awning.  The back of each pitch borders a hedgerow that separates two fields with the front adjoining the access track and a largish area of grass beyond that.  The site has a very open feel with panoramic undulating views of attractive countryside in all directions and hills in the distance.  Doverdale Lane has little traffic on it which is as well as it is quite narrow but it also means that the site is very quiet.  Droitwich is only a short distance away and has a good selection of shops, supermarkets and other amenities.  The centre includes a canal and locks and is worth a visit as also is Hanbury Hall which is a nearby NT property.  The site can be accessed quickly and easily from the M5.  We only stayed a short time but I am sure there is plenty to do and see in the area by car.  We didn't have time to go rambling but any route from the site would have involved walking along Doverdale Lane which wouldn't have been ideal; the short walk to pay the bill at Keybridge Farm was tricky enough.  We hope to return and explore more.  The Honey Bee pub about a mile along Doverdale Lane is a reasonable place to eat.  There is good mobile phone and TV reception from the site.
