Easy going visit

We have just spent two nights at Kentsford Farm CL and can say that this CL is well worth a visit. The post code quoted in the Club book will lead you to the site, the private approach lane is a slightly sloping, straight single track lane to the farm and is about half a mile long with a few passing places along the way. Final access to the site is over a short concrete bridge which is easy to cross just watch out for the ducks ! the site is flat open and large enough to provide plenty of space between caravans, the site is well kept and has all grass pitches. TV reception was not to great so if you have a SAT dish this would be worth while taking this along if your into TV, the weather was kind for us during the visit so the lack of the TV did not bother us. Mobile phones worked, O2 (Tesco) and Vodafone, we were able to get 3G using O2. The waste water & chemical disposal is easy to access and there is no need to do any lifting of the grey water container, just watch out that you do not fall into the drain !  the manhole cover has been removed from the drain and the hole is four or five feet deep. The CL site is just next to the old mineral line which is now a foot path from Watchet to Washford and runs next to the West Somerset Railway, walking to Watchet takes about twenty minutes and is about the same if heading to Washford. We thought about walking to Watchet and catching the train to Washford and then walking back to the CL but never got around to it this time, so next time maybe.
