Lovely site

Very peaceful and spacious site, didn’t meet the owners but there was no need. Stayed for 2 weeks and enjoyed it, will book again.

Great site. Well worth a visit

Stayed here at the end of August and had a great week. The family were most welcoming and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. The site has easy access and is well signed. We used Sat. Nav. but the helpful directions given to us by the owners were also very useful. Very central for our needs with easy access to the North Coast and Norwich C.C. Very quiet site with just the occasional light aircraft from a nearby local airfield. We'll be going back next year. John and Sandra from Billericay

Great place to stay

Take the turning signposted Little Snoring Airfield from the main road as it is the easy approach to the site. On arrival at the site we went through the wide main entrance stopping at the main house and Steve told us to park wherever we wanted and left us to settle in. Steve and Lynne are great and made us feel really at home. While always ready to chat they were not intrusive and gave us some great advice where to visit and places suitable for our Golden Retriever. Before we left Steve came over to say goodbye and check we had had a great time, just a little something that made our stay. (Thank you) If you want total peace and tranquillity and an adults only site then this is a great place. While there we regularly saw a barn owl in the evenings and several other notable birds. It proved to be a great base for exploring all over the northern sector of Norfolk without having to go too far. Little Snoring Airfield, now privately owned used to be an RAF base during the war and there is now a memorial at one end of airfield on the road as a commemoration. Not obtrusive at all and in fact gave us something else to look at over a relaxing breakfast at the weekend mainly. Thursford Collection is a must especially if you can remember steam rollers, fairground music and of course the Galloping Horse Ride which is a must! We came away having had a marvellous break feeling relaxed and certainly would come back with no hesitation. Dog bins are numerous in the village so it was easy when we were out walking with the dog and really not necessary on site. Walk up towards the main road (passing a poo bin) and take the 1st right to the playing field, keep to the bottom edge and go through 2 farm fields and you come out in a very nice estate, follow the road to the right and it takes you passed the school and back to the site. Several other variations can be found and there are often villagers out walking there dogs who will tell you where else to go.

One of the best

Stayed at numerous CLs in Norfolk, this in our opinion (based on a 3 week stay) is one of the best. One of the criteria I look for in a good Cl is the chemical WC emptying point, I find this shows the interest and commitment of the owner, pleased to say this facility at Jex Farm is excellent. Entrance to the site is easy with no obstructions or narrow lanes / gates etc. The local primary school although near the pitching are was not a problem even at play time. Enjoyed the owl flitting by each evening and the Red Kites. Pitches are large and you are free to site your outfit however you like. Views are good and the sunsets out of the front window simply stunning! No local walks to speak of but the lanes immediately off the site are quiet and would be excellent for cycling. We had our old Labrador with us (most of the other caravans also had dogs) only downside was having 'picked up' the only place to dispose was in a dog waste bin on the village green. A facility on site would be appreciated (a comment also made by others). May I suggest a information, shed, notice board or information pack giving the usual contacts for shopping, doctors, vets etc.would be most appreciated. Shopping was excellent with Fakenham a couple of miles away. To sum up certanly on our 'return to list'

Fabulous night stop

Managed to get a space on this site near Little Snoring despite many other CLs turning away our single night request.. Extremely large field with EHU and far reaching countryside views. Extremely welcoming owners with a catalogue of tails about the local wildlife.

Just got back from a really relaxing 7 nights on this beautuful site, Stephen was very friendly and welcoming we will certainly be back. Probably the best CL site we have been on. We enjoyed watching Barn Owls, Red Kites and lots of other wild life.

Wonderful CL

We loved this CL which is in a tranquil spot with lovely views and sunsets. We had a great welcome from Stephen and chose our site on this lovely flat field with electricity to hand. The site is laid out so that all caravans have a great view across the open fields and do not feel crowded at all. We enjoyed watching the wildlife, rabbits and birds. The area of North Norfolk is just wonderful and I am pining to come back already.

Great Location

Just returned from a wonderful short break at Jex Farm (Fri - Tue). Received a really warm welcome from owners Lynne and Stephen who were on hand to advise about places to eat and where to go. The farmhouse is close by (but not too close). The site was really quiet with excellent access and a wonderful view over to the church. The sunsets were absolutely magical and we saw the barn owl a couple of times. The field was level and there's a small shop not far away. Fakenham isn't far for takeaways/supermarkets etc. and the location is perfect for getting to the coast and seeing the sites. Would highly recommend - we'll be back soon!
