Great stay

just spent yet another brilliant weekend at Isle View Lesley and Ian could not be more welcoming. This must be our 5 visit varying from a few days to 2 weeks. We never tire of the ever changing view. So much to do in the area. We cycle and walk from the site. Beach below site tidy climb back up but worth the walk, you can walk all the way down into weymouth bay. You can catch a bus back which we have done in the past. The site is secure and gated and well kept. you just couldn't ask for more. Thank you Lesley and Ianx

Really Relaxing Stay

We have just come home from our weekend break at Isle View Camping - we could have stayed for months - beautiful view, very peaceful and relaxing and out of the way of the crowds! We do not have a problem with having no ECU so we will be returning here for along time to come. One one comment: It says that the charges are £12 per night, which is OK as there is no ECU but we were charged £15. Perhaps this page should be updated please. We will still be coming back though for many years to come.

Isle view June 2017

Best views from this site of any CL I have ever visited. Friendly and helpful site owners make you very welcome. One big downside for me, site on top of high cliffs looking out to sea and could be renamed windy ridge. Blowing a gale even when weymouth sea front is still and calm, as it was during the heatwave we were their last June. Great site for motor homes or caravans without awnings. Nightmare pitching an awning up here, even with the extra help from the very helpful owners.

A gem!

We stayed here for a week at the beginning of September 2017. Stunning views. Well kept site. Friendly owners who visit the field regularly. Walks from site on Coastal Path. Very windy while we were there so no awning put up. Excellent fish and chips at King Edwards in Weymouth. We shall return.

Lovely site with stunning views and friendly welcome

The view of Weymouth Bay from this site is stunning and Lesley's welcome was very warm and friendly. Arriving was easy and we set up where we wanted to. We only stayed one might but wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

Spot On!

Amazing - 5 pitches, park where you want - very friendly owners. Just arrive, unpack, relax and they come and say hi, have a good chat - very helpful. High up over the sea, beautiful views, 2 minute walk to the coastal path, dog friendly - bring plenty to eat/drink, because i doubt you'll want to move!!

WOW!

This was our first experience of caravanning without electric hook up and I have to say if all of the non-electric sites are like this then we will certainly do it again! I contacted Lesley the day before our arrival to see if we could arrive earlier than their published arrival time - this was not a problem. On our arrival we were blown away by the stunning view! We were greeted by Lesley's son who advised us to park wherever we wanted - there was plenty of room in the well kept field and as you've not got to be near an electric point there is plenty of choice. We were soon set up and sat out enjoying the view and glorious weather. Lesley came to us later that afternoon and she advised us of places of interest and walks. As this was our first experience without electric we had only booked two nights here, however, with hindsight we wished we had stayed for longer! You never tire of the view! During our stay we walked the coastal path to the Smugglers Inn for a couple of drinks, and the following day we walked the coastal path into Weymouth which was about four miles each way. We would certainly recommend this CL - if you can cope without electric - which we did easily - it is just amazing! We were fortunate to have excellent weather too! We hope to visit again in the future.

View that takes your breath away

Have to agree with everything that others have said ! Just breathtaking , we arrived to stunning weather and views, had a coastal walk to a the smugglers inn with the dog although nice in good weather ! The next day was a totally different story storms and wind on a cliff top not a great idea ! Be prepared to use your car as you are a bit isolated but buses do run to Weymouth last one back is at 4.45. Lovely site nice for touring the area

Be prepared to be amazed !!

Where do I start! Unbelievable location with undoubtedly one of the best views you will see "anywhere". The welcome was exceptional and the owners are to be praised for the care and attention they lavish on their acre of heaven. The field is almost completely level, small blocks may be needed, beautifully mowed with NO mess at all, just so neat. The view is truly spectacular and is incredibly quiet and peaceful. It is 200 yards from the coast path and 100 yards from the bus, £3 return to Weymouth, just 15 mins away. You will not visit a finer location or CL. The Club requires a new category for this level of presentation as it is beyond 5 star, we need and Elite category. Thank you to the owners for sharing this and we will return.
