Peace and quiet plus a great welcome.

If you like Lincolnshire and peace and quiet with local wildlife this CL is worthy of a visit the site is approx 7m from Louth and 12m from Mablethorpe, it’s at the end of a dead end lane so has no passing traffic apart from the occasional tractor. Colette & Ron have put a lot of effort into making this the ideal easy life CL with water to every pitch and 16amp electric that combined with the wildlife which surrounds the CL makes it worthy of a visit and I’m sure once you’ve visited you will want to return.

Doing simple things very well

Just returned from a three night stay at this lovely cl. Collette and Ron are lovely hosts who clearly have used their experience of being caravanners to develop a first class cl. Easy to use online availability and booking system, clear directions for finding the cl, good entrance and egress to a well kept site with generous pitches four of which were hardstanding and all with water and EHU. A single modern and very well maintained loo more than enough given most of us have showers and sinks in our outfits. A useful leaflet with information and an off road walk from the site accessible for dogs all add up to a great place to stay. If we were to be picky an extra CAMC marker on the lane facing likely direction of travel would enhance visibility for first arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay and we hope we can still get a place when we visit next time. Peter and Jane

Peace tranquility on a beautiful welcoming site

This was a last minute online booking for us so we didn't do our research first - but what a lovely experience. Booking and payment was all on line before we arrived, with emailed details through so we had all the information on the site, facilities and the local area before we got there, and knew our pitch number just in case - but the owners were there to welcome us with a bottle of green eco fluid to help maintain the systems. The site is wonderfully maintained, with hardstandings with grassed areas around, hedgerows and flowers between the pitches and longer grass around the very edges for the wildlife. With EHU and our own water tap on site, and grey waste into the hedgerow it took us until the Sunday morning when we took our recycling up to the bins to discover a lovely large WC was there too, spotlessly clean. There is even a sheltered area with table and chairs to relax and socialise in, or just watch the skies and the wildlife from a different perspective. The pitches were large, and the skies even larger - there is no light pollution so the skies were amazing and wildlife abounds. The dog walk - you can walk for miles on tracks straight from the site with fields and hedgerows either side and we never saw another soul. The access roads were good - although like most of north lincolnshire you felt you were out in the wilds, but you are surprisingly close to lovely market towns and the coast, and the shops in the small local towns were very good for supplies etc. The owners have clearly spent a lot of time in planning and executing their plans for the site - and it shows, they have great pride in it and it was a real pleasure. We will certainly be back.

Top CL for peace & quiet

We spent a couple of nights at this lovely CL. We received a warm welcome from Colette on arrival and she showed us to our pitch, gave us a bottle of green fluid for our loo and a booklet with information about the CL, the local area sights and local pubs etc. The only thing you will hear at this site is birds and the wind through the trees. It's so peaceful and the sunsets are glorious. The CL is really well maintained and set in a lovely area. They have really made an effort to ensure that there are great recycling facilities, the toilet was lovely and clean and the grass area was well kept. There is a great dog walk from the site along a track which has fields on either side. While walking the track we spotted lots of wildlife including hares and deer. Colette and Ron were really welcoming, we'd definitely recommend this CL and plan to go back again soon.

Away from it all site in very pretty surroundings

I echo the positive reviews that others have said about the site and how welcoming college and Ron are. It’s probably better for caravans rather than motor homes as you do need to drive to get places. Although it is off the beaten track access for a large caravan is very good. Lovely site. We enjoyed our short break here.

Brilliant CL

Wonderful Easter 2022 stay at Ings Farm. Met on arrival with green fluid for the cassette and a useful information booklet. We were on the grass pitch which is large on a corner plot. EHU & water tap on each pitch. There’s also a lovely outside toilet which is immaculate with heated towel rail. Delightful views over the surrounding fields with pheasants and owls never far away. The site is well-laid out and far away from any noisy roads. The perfect place to relax!

Peggy and I

Peggy, my sheltie and I, decided to try a new cl in our favourite area of lincolnshire. Possibly house hunting this time. We wanted seclusion, dog walks and peaceful surroundings. Here at Ings farm we had that in spades! Because we know the area it was easy to plan our days. Research it well if you are a motorhomer, as parking in the surrounding towns can be difficult. However. This visit was about tranquility. That we had. The weather was a mix of winter and summer in one day. Fantastic to watch it roll in over the vast lincolnshire skies. Better than television any day. But if thats what you want, tv signal great and so was the free wifi. Collette was lovely and friendly and waiting for us to arrive. A gem.

Another Staycation

Bit of a delay in writing this, we stayed here in August 2021. Communications with the owner was spot on as was the welcome. Good clean onsite toilet facilities and everything else you need. Lovely location with great access to local landmarks and amenities. The dogs loved it and despite not having the best of weather we had a lovely stay. I daresay we will be back at some point in the future.

Truly magical

Our first visit to this wonderful CL will not be our last. The owners, Colette and Ron, are so warm and friendly and they keep the huge field to a very high standard with large pitches, a beautifully warm and well equipped toilet and a large south facing wooden shelter in which you can sit and watch the wildlife and the clouds scudding by, even on a rainy day. There is a lovely track for dog walking straight from the site or you can walk over fields and quiet roads to the local abandoned St Botolph's medieval church which has an interesting history. The marshes at Saltfleet are beautiful and quiet, and Mablethorpe and Donna Nook are also within a short drive. The lovely market town of Louth with its famous cheese shop is also a few miles' drive away and the Greyhound Inn on Upgate has a great range of Gluten Free food - they are also extremely dog friendly! In addition, the beautiful St James' church in Louth is worth a visit and it allows dogs inside too! The real beauty of this site is in its exposure to the skies - you can see for miles around and the sunsets and sunrises are truly unrivaled. Yes, it is windy, but the owners have planted hedges and trees all around which will offer some shelter in years to come. They also have plans to install more features to attract wildlife in the future which would further increase the appeal of the site. However, because of the site's current exposure to the elements and surrounding countryside, you feel as if you can touch the clouds as they race past, and the views of the geese as they sail overhead in their hundreds are truly breathtaking. We stayed three nights (26 - 29 September 2021, being the very last visitors of the season) but felt as if we had stayed much longer, all thanks to its beauty and its relaxing and friendly nature. This really is a jewel of a site. Thank you, Colette and Ron, for a wonderful short break, and especially for the concern you showed us over our very old dog, Lucy, during our stay.
