Great Site for a visit to Stratford

Set a good way from the main road, this split level site is surrounded by sheep pasture land and provides some attractive outward views. The route from M40 is straightforward, but watch carefully for the entrance to the site access drive on the final approach along the A road. There are clumps of trees within the site and a good choice of pitches. It's a super site for a long or short stay and one which I hope to stay at again.

Close to Stratford

Easy site to get to as it is just off the main road into Stratford. No passing places on the short drive up to the CL, so be prepared. Sheep and horses surround the CL and the farm dog often comes to visit. The site itself is on 2 levels with a slope in between, so you may need levelling blocks, depending on which part of the CL you want to pitch. The dog walk is the drive as you enter, no walks from the site as the main road is far too busy. The free car park near Stratford is only a short drive from the CL and is great for walking.

A proper CL!

This CL is actually surrounded by fields on three sides. I have knocked a star off "peace and tranquillity" because, although it didn't bother us, the site is in the middle of sheep fields - so lots of baaaa-ing! I have knocked a couple of stars off No. 5 because, and this didn't bother us either, the owner took the cash, glimpsed at our CC card and we didn't see him again! Site is great for visiting S-U-A on foot, along side the river, but I would suggest cycling to be the better option - especially for the return leg (shopping DOES wear you out!). Over all a proper CL!

Central location

Lovely site, sloping but manageable. Friendly owner. Close to many lovely towns and villages. Unfortunately we were kept awake by the lambs and sheep which surrounded us on 3 sides, but it was worth it to be on a good site.

Super spot

Ingon Bank farm is a super spot for touring the area, gave 5 stars for peace and quiet, except for the many lambs all around but they were fun to watch. Nice welcome from owner who made sure were happy  pitched in the best spot for us. Access to field a little tight for longer units and ground was rather wet with all the rain, so difficult not to make wheel tracks, never the less we have a good stay, even survived the gales as on top of the hill.

Best CL site

Just returned from 6 nights at this marvelous site - quite the best we have been to.     Easy access, owner very friendly and helpful, site beautifully maintained, many local places of interest.   Free car park just down the road with a lovely riverside walk into Stratford.   Don't miss the walk across the farmer's field to the beacon at the top of the hill - beautiful views all around.

Great site

The site was excellent, in a great location and very peaceful (probably even quieter before we turned up with our toddler and baby!) We will definitely stay again

A great place to chill

Just returned from a weekend of chilling out Ingon Farm CL. Pitches were spacious and had the top part of the field to ourselves with great views in all directions. Directions were very clear and very easy to find. I read previous comments, and I could not fault any of the facilities, which were all clean (and I would say the lids on the disposal points have been replaced - because I couldn't see any issues). If I was being picky, an extra bin might be a good idea, but was not an issue when we were here and swing wide when entering the gate, otherwise it can be tight with a long outfit. We will be back to this great CL.

Good for Stratford

This is a very good site for visiting Stratford. Arguably within walking distance of the town, though a bit too far for comfort after an evening at the theatre. The surroundings are rural and the road far enough away to minimize any traffic noise.
