We've just come home from our 3rd visit to Hurries Farm over the last few years. We really enjoy staying there and it has a special place in our hearts. It's a working farm, so yes, there are chickens roaming around and there are sheep and rhea's in the next field. The sheep dogs are lovely and very well behaved and follow David's instructions and whistles. It's all part of the charm of the place! Wendy and David are both lovely. The site itself has always been well presented when we've been there, there's a EHU on each pitch, which are also hard standing, with the grass being a reasonable length. There's even a picnic table in the middle, if you wanted to use it. It is on a slight slope, but nothing too drastic. We will definitely be returning again in the future - we might even get good weather sometime!
