Peaceful site,

Very nice quiet site, the access is easy to miss as it looks like a turning to a dirt track and it is on a bend, access road is bumpy, but, entrance is controlled by electric gate covered by CCTV so owners can see who is coming and going for security. Site is sloping so levelling blocks necessary. Pitches large, grassed hardstanding. No loo is listed, but one is available, but shared with stables, so, if like me, you know anything about horse owners (daughter has horses) loo really is not great, but it works, and as I say not advertised, so you takes your choice, at least it works and has running water in the sinks (unlike some sites I have visited)!!! Owner is quite difficult to find, so, again, had to put money in envelope through his door., but people in top static caravan (2 permanent statics on site, but no problems at all, and no impact on CL, still plenty of roof) help out in event of any problems. Water pressure is low so dont be in a rush to fill your aqua rolls. However, all that being said, it is a nice quiet grassy site, plenty dog walks from the site and 5 mins from Guisborough and the coast. No facilities, as such for children (except a large grass area), but, again, no facility for children are listed, so what do you expect? All in all, it is our 'go to' site if visiting the area. The local area is more peaceful than, say Scarborough, (about hours drive away) and both Saltburn and Marske have wonderful beaches. Guisborough is a nice little market town, with a wonderful church and priory to visit. All in all, really is worth a look at. Should mention, fully dog friendly.
