Bank Holiday Visit
we decided to stay at the Honeypot due the reviews that we had read and were not dissapointed. we arrived around 18:00 on the Friday evening following a 5 1/2 hour drive and were welcombe by Connor who despite his young age was very profesional and showed us around all the facilities. I was surprised that we had the last pitch but was told by Connor that its been like this all season. So if your deciding to go I would book early as it seems a very popular site. I thought the scenery across the vally was beautifull. The showers were pay as you go but it was only £1 for 6 minutes so make sure you have some pound coins as this is all the meter takes. I have marked down the peace and tranquility score but that was only because the site is on a main raod and I was awoken at 4 in the morning by road traffic but aside from that we had a wonderfull stay at a lovely location especially as you have a Gastro pub on site and the food is geat and also reasonably priced, we had a 2 course meal with beer and coffee for 2 all for £32!! we would definately visit again especially as this site is owned and managed by Club Members and we should all support them for their great venture especially as the surrounding locale has several independant caravan sites which looked soleless with little or no views.
