Home Farm has a great deal to offer as a CL, indeed is one of the best we have used (this was our second visit). The site is level with well maintained grass, easy access, good facilities, and just the right size for 5 caravans. What is not obvious until contact is made with the CL is that it is adjacent to a commercial site, Alders, run by the same team. This is a little distance away, the access drive does not seem too busy as many of the sites at Alders are seasonal, and the CL being run in conjunction with Alders means that the reception process is much more organised than most CLs. The site is next to the working farm, which inevitably means a little pleasantly rural noise. Alne is a lovely well kept village, (very quiet apart from the main line railway a mile away) and the area is flat, so is perfect for cycling, while Easingwold must be one of the most attractive small towns in Yorkshire.
