This was our first ever short in stay (2 nights) in our new motorhome. We were met on arrival by John who was very helpful as we needed the security gate access code to enter the site. The water supply, refuge bin & waste water/CDP were all easily accessible. The site was immaculate! Grass cut with no grass cuttings and the ground appeared level. Such a spacious CL site. The local village is a short walk away from the site. We ventured into the historic city of York by catching the no: 10 bus adjacent to the Old Butchers cafe. Although we didn't eat at the cafe, we did sample refreshments but the food looked amazing (we must try next time!). Bus into/from York takes about 25mins. We had a thoroughly peaceful & tranquil short break. Thanks to John & Louise for making our first ever CL site experience memorable. This is a must stay site!
