Nice site

We booked in here for 2 nights ended up staying 4, a short drive of about 200m from the main road down a relativly good track, a lovely lady owns the site next to her bungalow, nice level site with water and toilet disposal. Main road about 200m away, lots of wildfowl walking about, great site would come back, dark skies at night.

A Nice Basic CL

I'm always nervous about staying at a CL with no reviews but we really enjoyed our stay at this little CL. It is set on a farm so there are some compromises. Cows in the field next to the vans. The field we stayed on was also quite small so I don't know if there was another part to it. Although the farm is set back from the road there is some slight road noise. Now all the positives. The owner was lovely. The views over the fields are very nice. The grass was mowed, ground fairly flat and the CL area tidy. Good TV signal. Small town within a few minutes drive with large supermarket and a variety of take-aways if you don't wish to cook. Dog can be walked on a lane on site although there are birds and animals. Within a few minutes drive there are a variety of woods which you can walk your dog in. Lots of National Trust/Tourist attractions within the area. It is also very handy if travelling up and down the country. Literally 5-10mins max from the M1 in the middle of the country. A small little gem as far as we were concerned.
