What a CL should be.

My wife and I recently stayed for 2 weeks, June 2024, at Hillview Country Park. We had a very warm welcome on arrival from Mr Williams showing the lie of the land and the location of all the facilities. The site is large and flat with lots of space between pitches. There is electricity and water on each pitch. It rained heavily whilst we were there but the site drained very well indeed. The site has excellent shower and toilet facilities, tv lounge and washing machine and there is some local produce for sale. The Chemical Disposal Point was very clean and undercover. Mr Williams keeps the grass short and picks up the grass. The views over the Malvern Hills are lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay. Recommended.

Nice spacious site

Have just recently stayed here for a week. Lovely huge CL, nice and flat and probably one of the largest we’ve stayed on, plenty of room for all. Choice of several marked pitches all with own water and EHU. Owner made us aware on arrival of some on site facilities, but we never used any of them, so cannot comment. Hubby said CDP was easy to use and very clean, which is always a bonus. Close to Worcester and Tewkesbury and had great views of The Malvern Hills. Would not hesitate to stay here again if back in the area.

A lovely stay

We recently spent a week on this site. The site is huge, allowing us and our daughters to play tennis or Badminton without intruding on other people's space. It is very well kept, and the facilities were lovely. Lots to do and see in the area without travelling too far, and Croome Tower, which we could see from our caravan, is just a short walk away, giving fabulous views in all directions. A lovely evening walk to see the sun setting behind the Malvern hills. Will certainly visit again if in the area

A wonderful pit stop

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Mr Williams. We had a choice of grass pitches in a very large well kept field. There was separate access to toilets and showers that had great water pressure but watch out for spiders! There was also access to washing up facilities. The site is so peaceful it gave us a great start to our summer holiday.

A nice place

I agree with other reviewers this is a good place to stay.a large level field excellent toilet and shower facilities although I thought they weren’t getting cleaned as often as they should have been and did had some spiders in them.there were free range eggs for sale which were delicious,Croombe country park is very close for a nice day out and Worcester and Tewksbury are very nice.it would make a good stopover for those travelling south as it’s very convenient for motorway.we would come again if in the area or as a stopover

Just perfect

This has to be the most spacious CL site we have ever stayed on, the pitches are huge and flat and the views across the countryside are wonderful. No worries about being socially distant on this site!! The Malvern hills look lovely, especially as the sun sets over them. Each pitch has EHU and water and the waste facilities are very tidy and well organised. We were met by the owner Tony who gave us a warm welcome and explained where everything was. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a log cabin housing 2 bathrooms ( shower, WC and sink ) a washing up area, 2 easy chairs and a TV along with information leaflets. They also have eggs for sale along with home made jams and pickles. Tewkesbury, Upton upon Severn, Three counties showground, Great Malvern are all great places to visit and they are all close by. Access to the site is very easy, but please follow the directions stated and not your sat nav. If you like peace and quiet with lovely views, you will love this site like we did. Well looked after site, a credit to the owners. Can't wait to go back. We stayed for 5 nights in September 2021.

One night stop over

Excellent site and facilities. Warm welcome. Large level field allowing excellent spacing between units. Free range eggs available from the chickens we could see in the adjacent enclosure. There were chutneys and jams too. All reasonably priced. Approx 20 mins walk to village and pub, very welcoming but advised to book beforehand if you want to dine. Easy access to the motorway. The site is down a quiet coutry lane, so, very peaceful. The toilet emptying was impeccable. The only site we visited this summer that had hand sanitizer and gloves. As a nurse, I always use gloves for this duty (you have no idea what bugs have been put there by previous users, who may not have washed their own hands-believe me I've seen it!). It was lovely to have this option. Full marks.

Great stay

Best CL we’ve stayed at. Easy access & very warm welcome from Tony. Large flat area with every pitch with its own water tap and electricity supply. The chemical waste is discreetly behind a fence along with the rubbish bins. There is a cabin with 2 bathrooms that provide toilets and hot showers. Also a small room with 2 easy chairs, television, book exchange & table with jams, chutneys & eggs that can be purchased. Lots of country roads to walk and cycle. Will definitely be back. Thank you

Short stays on way to Cornwall

This was our third stay with Tony And Lavinnia on their excellent CL site. The views of the Malvern hills which give the site its name are a treat to wake up to. It couldn’t be more peaceful and the large site ensures privacy. The facilities are second to none and a short walk down the lane provides a real ale and food if required to end the day. Many thanks again to you both, we will be back! Geoff and Allyson.
