Wow! What an excellent site!

We stayed here for 3 nights on our recent tour of Wales, having read the recommendations. We had to amend our dates slightly to get a pitch and what a good job we did. It is a fantastic little site; the owners obviously take great pride in it and have spared no expense in keeping it up to club standards! No wonder it seems to be full for most of the ear. We were lucky enough to get the pitch on the far corner, to the right of pair of rhododendron bushes which were magnificently in flower during our stay and you get a view of the sea in the distance from this pitch, although we were never quite certain exactly which bit of sea we were looking at! The pitches are all large hard standing and easy to reverse onto and each pitch has its own picnic table. It's a short drive (or walk) into Saundersfoot which is a very attractive little seaside town with a nice beach and harbour. Tenby is slightly farther afield; we didn't look round the town, but the view from the north beach up to the church with all the painted houses alongside it is very attractive. There are plenty of good walks in the area, our main reason for visiting. From Saundesfoot in either direction to Tenby or Amroth are good stretches and beyond Tenby is a little picnic area at a spot called Skrinkle Haven with a superb view of Caldey island; again you can walk from there to manorbier with its magnificent castle. We were only sorry that our stay was so brief but we loved the area and the site and do hope to return in the near future.
