Outstanding site and the most lovely owners

We have stayed here a number of times over the past 10 years. It was absolutely beautiful the first time we went and has improved year on year, albeit I didn’t think there was any improvements needed. It’s so well maintained and in tip top condition and well organised. The owners Bruce and Ann are a remarkable couple. Nothing is too much trouble. Just stayed here for 3 nights and I unfortunately needed an ambulance which was going to take up to six hours. Bruce went out of his way to take me to hospital and wait for over an hour. Fortunately, I was able to get back and enjoy the rest of my stay. Will definitely be voting for this site as its now our favourite site in the UK. All thanks to Bruce and Ann and their families dedication for our caravan/Motorhome experience.

Pitch Perfect!

We stayed for a week in March for my 60th birthday. We were staying with our friends and picked about the best week in terms of weather! Hillcroft is a perfect CL. Bruce and Ann have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. All pitches are large and flat with lovely views and really spaced out for privacy. The facilities are spotless, large and very warm and cosy. Bruce and Ann are constantly working and cleaning and the entire site is a real credit too them. There are great walks from the site and a bus stops outside plus a local train station which goes into Tenby. We had two brilliant takeaways from the local Chinese and Indian restaurants who both deliver to the site which is a bonus. Can't wait to return and one of the best week's holiday we have had in the caravan. No wonder the site was won so many awards.

We want to go back !!

What an absolute gem of a site this, so much so we are, without doubt going back. Firstly what an amazing welcome from Bruce and Ann, showed us directly to the very spacious, level pitch and explained where everything was. In passing I said to Ann I was ready for a beer after a 4 hour drive to the site, so could she please direct me to the nearest pub. No sooner said than done, she only went and took us to the front door of one in her own car and dropped us off there, what an outstanding host and so kind. The whole ambience of the site is very peaceful and tranquil and wow the grounds, toilets and showers are kept immaculate. Loads of well kept shrubs and palm tress with perfectly manicured lawns. There is also a lovely field adjoining for dog walking, not your usual overgrown jungle but a bowling green virtually!! How Bruce gets all his chores done I'll never know as he's such a likeable guy and always finds the time to chat. I'll miss the friendly banter as he has such a wicked sense of humour!! Oh and not forgetting the 4 ducks that came out daily for a wander round and a dip in the water tray, quacking away happily. See you again very soon Hillcroft!

We've found our paradise!

This site is stunning! It is beautifully landscaped, meticulously maintained, with very well-spaced pitches with many trees and shrubs. Upon arrival, we were met by our hosts, who gave us a very friendly welcome, and we immediately felt at ease and delighted to be staying with them. The facilities are perfect and spotlessly clean. For us, this peaceful and charming site is our idea of paradise, and has gone straight to the top of our list. We are regular visitors to this area, and we will be looking to stay here at every opportunity. What a find!!!

Fantastic CL site

Visited Aug 21 for 3 nights, friendly and welcoming owners who provided info of points of local interest which was very helpful. Fantastic facilities, spotlessly clean. Site is beautifully landscaped and well kept. Some pitches have great sea views. CL is in ideal location and can't wait to return. Certainly one of the best CL sites we have visited.

Lovely CL (April 2021)

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at Hillcroft. What a beautiful site. So well maintained. The owner is always out and about doing ‘jobs’ about the place ... which is very spacious. Bruce really does keep on top of everything, and is so helpful in giving advice on where to go. Contact before our stay was great too. We leave our motorhome on site wherever we go, so it was lovely to be given a hand drawn map on arrival detailing how to get to the coast (we used two of the walking routes). He also gave us details for the local bus which stops more or less outside the site entrance. Everywhere is accessible. We had a lovely day out in Tenby on the bus ( dogs allowed) and got to see the local celebrity ( Wally the Walrus). The nearest village is a short walk with a large co-op, and we passed a pub getting ready for reopening if thats your thing, Site has sanitiser at the gate, and because every pitch is so big, it feels a very safe environment. This site is top spec, the views (out to sea from our pitch) and grounds are exceptional, certainly one of the best CLs.

What a fantastic CL

We have just returned from a 2 night stay which we thoroughly enjoyed. The campsite grounds are immaculately kept, the facilities superb, clean and totally COVID secure. Nothing is too much trouble for the exceptionally personable, approachable hosts Bruce and Ann who are regularly seen working in keeping the site in such perfect condition . It’s in a brilliant position with the Narberth - Tenby bus stop on the doorstep as well being only a 2 mile walk into Saundersfoot and 20 minute walk to the nearest pub in Kilgetty . Spot on CL which we are returning to next week for another 3 nights .

Fabulous site

Only stayed for one night in September. What a great site, immaculate, well manicured lawns, an enclosed safe area to let dogs off lead. Each pitch has its own hook up, and gravel parking area with own picnic table. On arrival Bruce gave us a map of the local area, first time we have been given a map on a CL site that we have so far visited (this is our first year). Due to COVID we did not need to use facilities so cannot comment, but would expect them to be of a very high standard. Found Bruce to be very friendly and helpful. Shame we only stayed for one night, was looking for a stop over on way home. Good location for Tenby and Saundersfoot. Would definitely return to this site if we find ourselves in the area again. Could not recommend this site highly enough.
